You’re not going to win this argument here.

Most people here don’t see a whole lot of difference between Obama and Romney.

In fact, it can be argued that Romney will be WORSE than Obama, because he will pursue liberal policies under the guise of being a Republican, and the GOP Congress probably won’t be able to hold him in check.

On the other hand, the hope is that the real conservative voices would hold a President Romney’s feet to the fire. I’m speaking mostly of Sarah Palin.

My thoughts on the matter are that if Romney is elected POTUS, we will most certainly need to primary him in 2016. Hopefully Palin will be up to it.

The good news for me is that I live in CA and won’t have to make any such decision. I won’t be voting for Romney because I don’t have to. I’m not in a swing state, so it isn’t a dilemma for me.

That is an excellent point.

It's not just an argument, it's a likelihood. And that scenario also gives a tacit stamp of approval to the GOP-e, who will run rampant over our liberty and our rights with their desire to entrench their political machine organization even further into our lives than it has been shown to be in this primary. FOXNEWS has also been complicit in this effort.

If either Romney or Santorum is elected POTUS with GOP-e control of both houses, we are in for as much trouble fighting off big government as we were in the first two years of Obozo and DEM control of both houses. And the effort is more likely to be futile. Conservative political philosophy will have lost not just another battle, but the entire war at that point.
