Sandra Fluke’s Appearance Is No Fluke ( Rush & the Slut Fluke, Mega Leftist)

For me the interesting part of the story has the ever evolving “coed”. I put that in quotes because in the beginning she was described as a Georgetown law student. It was then revealed that prior to attending Georgetown she was an active women’s right advocate. In one of her first interviews she is quoted as talking about how she reviewed Georgetown’s insurance policy prior to committing to attend and seeing that it didn’t cover contraceptive services she decided to attend with the express purpose of battling this policy. During this time she was described as a 23 y/o coed. Magically at the same time congress is debating the forced coverage of contraception she appears and is even brought to capitol hill to testify. This morning in an interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show it was revealed that she is 30 y/o NOT the 23 that had been reported all along.

In other words, folks, you are being played. She has been an activist all along and the Dems were just waiting for the appropriate time to play her.

While she is described as a “third year law student” they always fail to mention that she is also the past president of Law Students for Reproductive Justice.

July 30 2011

Does your campus’s LSRJ chapter face opposition in regard to facilitating a comprehensive conversation about reproductive justice? Well mine definitely does! While my campus has a mix of people with different backgrounds, and a rich liberal arts community, the Midwest doesn’t exactly scream bleeding liberal. Some LSRJ chapters at conservative campuses face opposition in the form of other, more conservative, student run organizations; some face it from their administrations, and others from their peers, or the community in general. Whatever the opposition is, it can be incredibly frustrating and disheartening.

The question is, how do we combat this conservative opposition and oppression, in order to facilitate a discussion and educate others about the RJ movement? I am obviously not alone in facing these problems, as Sandra Fluke of Georgetown lead a packed room in a discussion on this question at the first Issue Caucus that I attended at the Leadership Institute, LSRJ’s national conference at Berkeley.

While no solution was definitively reached, and I personally don’t begin to have the “right” answer, I was really charged by the discussion and feel many great ideas were presented. Some campus chapters decided to take an adversarial approach, feeling it important to use those “scary” words the opposition fears.

Further background research on Ms Fluke reveals that she got her start in government in New York in 2009.

Sandra Fluke’s professional background in domestic violence and human trafficking began with Sanctuary for Families in New York City. There, she launched the agency’s pilot Program Evaluation Initiative. While at Sanctuary, she co-founded the New York Statewide Coalition for Fair Access to Family Court, which after a twenty-year stalemate, successfully advocated for legislation granting access to civil orders of protection for unmarried victims of domestic violence, including LGBTQ victims and teens. Sandra was also a member of the Manhattan Borough President’s Taskforce on Domestic Violence and numerous other New York City and New York State coalitions that successfully advocated for policy improvements impacting victims of domestic violence.

As the 2010 recipient of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles Fran Kandel Public Interest Grant, she researched, wrote, and produced an instructional film on how to apply for a domestic violence restraining order in pro per. She has also interned with the Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking; Polaris Project; Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County; Break the Cycle; the Domestic Violence Legal Empowerment and Appeals Project; NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund; Crime Victim and Sexual Assault Services; and the Human Services Coalition of Tompkins County.

Through Georgetown’s clinic programs, Sandra has proposed legislation based on fact-finding in Kenya regarding child trafficking for domestic work, and has represented victims of domestic violence in protection order cases. Sandra is the Development Editor of the Journal of Gender and the Law, and served as the President of Law Students for Reproductive Justice, and the Vice President of the Women’s Legal Alliance. In her first year, she also co-founded a campus committee addressing human trafficking. Cornell University awarded her a B. S. in Policy Analysis & Management, as well as Feminist, Gender, & Sexuality Studies in 2003.

My only question is how does someone go from being a champion of domestic violence issues to an expert of women’s reproductive health issues?

Lovely.

For $3000 in contraceptives, I would say that she has been engaging in a lot of research of sexuality.

She had a 4.0 in air bicycling. That is where you lay on your back and put your legs in the air, while saying what is your name homeless man.

Funny thing about Liberals. They can’t help but admit the truth.

“the Midwest doesn’t exactly scream bleeding liberal.”

Interesting use of the word ‘bleeding’. I wonder if she understands it’s origin?

As the former president of 'Physics Students for Superluminal Travel' I had little time for anything else.

1. Georgetown is a Catholic University.
A. Fluke deliberately chose such an institution to raise hell about what SHE perceives to be an injustice. She is an activist who is truly a parasite. I doubt she will ever be a producer.

2. She is lying to the public about her age. By now, she should be working & yelling at her EMPLOYER about not getting what she wants. IF she wishes to be a life-long ‘student’ & never work in the real world, she has now just tarred & feathered herself with ANY & EVERY prospective employer in the country. WHO in the world would deliberately hire this person to be a rotten apple in your workplace barrel????

3. She is certainly Math challenged on the amount of money it takes each month-—3 years to pay for birth control pills. Wal Mart sells a month’s supply for $9. A 36 month supply is only $324-—no where near $3000 for 36 months. Either she slipped a decimal or she is including condoms in her costs. I don’t know the price of condoms, but if she is spending over $2665 in a 36 month span for condoms, she is one busy tramp who is really working on her back.

I agree with Rush- she should be ashamed of herself. She certainly does NOT speak for me, nor for millions of other women in the USA, of all ages.

It appears that Sandra Fluke has been quite busy trying to find a social problem that needs a well paid spokesperson.

B. She chose this battle with a church run college to put the spotlight on her battle against Christian principles. She is nuts.

3. Considering how many ‘gender’ & women’s causes she is involved with, I am now wondering why she needs condoms at all. I am not sure she even has men as sexual partners.

4. She is certainly Math challenged on the amount of money it takes each month-—3 years to pay for birth control pills. Wal Mart sells a month’s supply for $9. What is the origin of the British curse, “bleeding”? If it is something to do with women’s cycles, it is more gross than I realized.

Over-credentialed freeloaders like Ms Fluke now infest every crevice of American public life, from government bureaucracies to the “diversity training” rackets at major corporations. They are very well paid con artists and parasites.

Guess what Dimmies?: We can walk and chew gum at the same time. We haven't forgotten a thing.

She's still a SLUT and you will still be history soon. Deal with it.

Has anyone noticed the Dems are not trolling out their LEADERS in front of some news media every night these days? Hiding? lol. We haven't forgotten you either.

It would be interesting if she is exposed as a lesbian.

Beck did the math on his show, she needs to have sex three times a day or 21 times a week. She either is a slut, or a very underpaid “professional”.

Letter to her parents:

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Fluke: Are you aware that your daughter is a SLUT and proud of it. I am sure you do not approve of her behavior, as I am sure your raised her to be a proper young lady, am I right?

You may want to remove you name from your mailbox, change your phone number, because the hen is coming home to roost. I feel as a concerned citizen you just need to be forewarned.

Being that your raised her "PROPER", what you seemed to have missed is a few good wallops on her ass, but no need to dwell on that now, past is past. Prepare now for your miserable future.

By the way, just how many "husbands" does she have? SHAME ON HER. Sincerely, good luck and God speed.

Since when are colleges & universities supposed to be providing INSURANCE policies regarding health?

There are hundreds of such companies in the USA that do that.

Book stores? Yes. Security? Yes. Decent parking? Yes.

INSURANCE is NOT a part of the needs one should be finding at the school itself, IMO.

The swear ‘bloody’ in British English is a contraction of the words, “By Our Lady”, which is swearing using the Mother of Jesus, or so I have read.

Actually, the form used in the British Empire was ‘bloody’.

There are many theories as to it’s root, but the most popular is that it is a euphemism for profanity.
Which would make sense it weren’t also a fact that many Britians follow up the word ‘bloody’ with the word ‘f*cking’, so avoiding profanity seems not to be a real issue.

IMHO, the term ‘bleeding’ used as an adjective is meant to signify a person that is ‘bleeding’ on everyone else. A person who has mostly self-inflicted wounds and wants everyone else to provide bandages and transfusions. If you don’t, they’ll just stand there and keep bleeding all over you. Hence, ‘bleeding’ liberal.

It is just as possible that ‘bleeding liberal’ was derived from ‘bloody f^cking liberal’, as well.

I just wonder which ‘definition’ the author intended, or if the author knew no better.

IIRC, that is one of the least likely reasons for the term.

My best guess, after checking several sources, is that it was naturally acquired in the war-torn British Empire. Much like "scream bloody murder" in the US, I am sure there were many a military man in the British Empire, and many a 'reporter' who who visit the scene of their latest conquest and say, "what a bloody f#ckin mess".

It is then possible that 'bloody' was used by the children, without the profanity, and became 'ingrained' into their culture.

The original question is still the use of the word 'bleeding' as an adjective, and what the author meant by it.

What, for instance, does it mean to you, if you use it?
