Unlike the woosified, politically correct US, the Chinese still understand the value of delivering a good a$$ kicking. And the Islamist's standard method of fighting, which depends on having massive numerical superiority to make up for technical deficiency, isn't going to work against the Chinese.

The Islamist's method of fighting is similar to the Viet Cong's: hide among non-fighters in the population, hit your enemy, and then go back to hiding among the "moderate" Muslim population. They want to be as hard to find, between raids, as the proverbial "needle in the haystack".

This only works up to the point where your opponent becomes willing to torch the haystack.
