He was so high at one point, that he fell backwards and the momentum caused him to do a backwards somersault. He was literally out of physical control of himself.
A lot of the folks were merely trying to stand between him and the people he wanted to harm, but even that angered him.
A good portion of these folks could do with a good competent mental health screening.
