President Obama spent this afternoon visiting wounded service members at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, meeting 27 injured troops and awarding eight purple hearts.
During his visit to the hospital the president met with 11 soldiers, 14 Marines, one sailor and one NATO forces member, according to the White House. Twenty-six of the service members that the president met were injured in Afghanistan and one was wounded in Iraq.
The visit comes just two days after the president honored Iraq veterans at a White House dinner, praising those who served as heroes and welcoming them home after nearly nine years of war.
Today marked the president’s 12th visit to the military hospital and his first of this year.

Bush visited them all the time and never brought along the press or sent out press releases.
Everything is political with this loser and his minions in the corrupt liberal media.
Does he ever got to visit when he isn’t giving Purple Hearts? I mean, does he ever go just to visit, like Pres. Bush did? Or are his visits always tied in with a Presidential duty he’s supposed to perform?

Is this why his visit is now PUBLICIZED (unlike Bush)?
I don’t think I could stomach seeing him standing next to a real American hero.
I’m not. He doesn’t care one wit about anyone in our military and his actions as Commander in Chief prove it. In fact, they have only endangered them.
He’s a phony president and only visited them for political purposes and when I read headlines like this, it makes me sick.
Did he remember to thank the “corpse-men” who took care of them on the battlefield?
My suspicion is that all his visits are for show and that he cares little for the brave souls who are suffering in the hospital.
But, at this point, like I said- I don’t care if it is fake. I am glad he went, if only for a photo op. Better that, than not at all IMHO.
I hope some of them questioned him why their counterparts in muzzieland are going to “be held accountable” for the burning of defaced queerans and why the islmist in chief keeps apologizing.
Must be election season. If it wasn’t, BO wouldn’t give a poo about our wounded warriors.

Why would anyone desire to be photo-opd with a LIAR, a fake, and an apologist?
Probably, a group he thought he could beat at hoops.
Because these kids (that's what they mostly are) don't know much about politics. They aren't thinking about in the way we are. They only know that the president has come by. It might improve moral. Even if only for a bit.
