When was the last time the House (or Senate) went after anybody for perjury?
You would think there aren’t enough jail cells on earth..
Agreed about the lack of courage of Congress to go after liars. We tried to get a couple of No. Vietnam’s propaganda agents jailed for lying to Congress but they got lucky. They ignored the Committee’s request for documents and stalled until the Congress’ session expired. Still, their lies are on the record and they will come back to bite their balls off.
We have long memories.
The same for some of John Kerry’s witnesses and staff. Lots of red meat there -Varelli, Blum, Porter, Avirgan.
