In a show of moral support, President Barack Obama called Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke on Friday defending her in the face of conservative radio icon Rush Limbaugh's "reprehensible ... personal and crude" attacks on her, the White House said.
The conversation, which lasted for "several minutes," came after Limbaugh branded Fluke a "slut" and a "prostitute" for her support of women having access to birth control, Jay Carney, the White House press secretary, said. The president made the call right before Fluke was scheduled to appear on MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell Reports.
Obama "wanted to offer his support to her," said Carney. "He wanted to express his disappointment that she has been the subject of inappropriate personal attacks, and to thank her for exercising her rights as a citizen to speak out on an issue of public policy."

Hewitt and Medved both put on crying sister acts on their Friday show as to how Limbaugh stepped in it, had gone over the bounds, and ought to do the mea-culpa prostration to the lefties.
I don’t think they know their audiences well any more, particularly Medved. Theirs a bunch of us out here spoiling for a fight. Limbaugh will be more popular when this is over than before.
We’re tired of treating these lefties with dignity and respect as honorable adversaries while they do anything and everything in their power to tear this country apart.
Republicans can point out that ObamaCare actually WEAKENS their argument for Roe versus Wade!!!!! Think about it!
Obama wants to force individuals and businesses (except for poor and small—according to his arbitrary defintions of poor and small)-—to buy health insurance which covers abortion and contraception——even though many , if not most of the people who buy the insurance won’t need birth control pills or abortions and might actually be against both on moral grounds.
Obama and the Dems also want to tell insurance companies that they must cover abortion and contraception-——basically back door federal funding of both abortion and contraception.
Thus, Democrats have no problem with the federal government passing a law which tells people what they must buy-——at a higher price-—(because it includes abortion and contraception which really aren’t about “insurance” at all because insurance is about “what if?” and if somebody is sexually active-—contraception is a fixed cost instead of a chance disease——unless you think about pregnancy as a disease and contraception as preventative medicine)————
so here are Democrats believing that the federal government should have the power to regulate so much and to mandate so much control over our lives——and isn’t ObamaCare “imposing morality???”””
So how can the Democrats who support ObamaCare argue with a straight face that the States do not have the right to regulate their own state-licensed doctors??????? Basically, what Roe versus Wade really should be called is
“federal de-regulation of a state perogative”-—which is their own licensed medical profession and precedures—according to intent. Aborting a healthy fetus of a healthy woman is not something the federal government or United States constitution can force states to license doctors to do. Democrats say they are against de-regulation-—except that they want to demand states to de-regulate their medical profession they license.....
So the problem with ObamaCare is also one of hypocrisy-—as ObamaCare really is backdoor federal funding of abortion——even as it undermines the very reasoning behind abortion as a “right” under limited government!!!!

Tis is so obviously a ruse de guerre, a false flag that Sandra Flunk and Odinga Obama have wrapped themselves in so tightly - can’t the Cathoilc Cardinals even figure it out? Last week Obama was burning down all the Catholic churches, schools and hospitals, this week he has his Schill Flac asking the US taxpayer to pay for free birth control pills. Why not free beer too? Do you realize how much it costs to buy beer at college?
Somebody needs to tell this little girl that it is not her US Constitutional right to freely screw her way through college with no consequences and costs.
It is in fact her moral and ethical duty to abstain from sexual activity until married, to a man, as God intended. But if someone told her that, her head would probably explode.
Slut must seem the normal American way to her, given her brazen conduct and speech.
This is a perfect example of the decadence, decline and fall of American and western civilization.
