LG Bill Bolling pushes for Romney to win VA
email from Bolling

Posted on 03/03/2012 8:03:15 AM PST by Gopher Broke

Friends,

On March 6th Virginia Republicans will go to the polls to vote in the Republican presidential primary. I hope you will take time to vote, and I encourage you to join Governor McDonnell and me in support of Mitt Romney.

Governor Romney’s success and experience in the private sector, running the Salt Lake City Olympics and as governor of Massachusetts makes him uniquely qualified to address the significant challenges facing America today. Mitt Romney is the right person with the right plan to lead our country toward a more prosperous future with more jobs, less debt and smaller government. And Governor Romney is the only Republican candidate who can defeat President Obama in November.

Virginia may not receive as much national attention as other states voting on Super Tuesday, so we can’t take anything for granted. We need your help to turn out Republican voters on March 6th and encourage them to support Mitt Romney.

Over the next 4 days you can help our campaign in Virginia in several ways: Use our Call from Home program to persuade your neighbors to vote on March 6th for Mitt Romney. Visit http://mittromney.com/call-home/landing to begin calling today. Visit one of our Virginia Phone Banks to join a local Romney team as they call voters across Virginia about the upcoming Primary. Visit http://mittromney.com/states/virginia/locations to find the closest headquarters to you and get involved. Bring your friends, family and neighbors to your local polling site on Election Day, March 6th. Check out the Virginia state page to find your local polling location http://mittromney.com/states/virginia.

On Tuesday you have an opportunity to take the next step toward defeating Barack Obama and electing Mitt Romney the next President of the United States.

Thank you for your support.

Very Truly Yours,

Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling

Dear Conservatives; on Tuesday we have rigged our Machiavellian GOP-E Pseudo Primary so that you can only vote for Mitt ...or Crazy Uncle Ron!

Have a nice day ...love and kisses,

Gov McDonnell, Lt Gov Bolling & the GOP-E

(I'll be protest voting for Crazy Uncle Ron)

-Geoff

Hey, Bolling......as a born and bred Virginia lady, I can’t tell you what I want you to do with your “hopes”, but you can use your imagination, I’m sure.

And the same goes for Bob McDonnell, my “conservative” governor.

And even if the game is not rigged to ensure an Obamney win ahead of time, the stupid GOPes will change the rules after the fact - like in Michigan - like a big, fat middle finger to the voters.

If you vote for this guy, you are a traitor to America, no different than voting for Owebie.

Either there's a brokered convention where a Palin or a Ryan is drafted into service, or if Obamney or Bush are forced on us, then it's third party all the way.

Looks like Santorum and Gingrich will not win their home state of Virginia where they have resided for decades, due to their own personal neglience of meeting requirements to be on the Virginia ballot. Santorum never even applied, Gingrich opted to take a 2 week Greek Vacation , at which time his senior campaign staff walked out on him.

Santorum and Gingrich both live within the beltway of DC in Virginia, feeding off what goes on inside the beltway. One or both of them are not on the ballot in DC either. Slackards!

Everyone we know is either voting for Paul or staying home.

No romney support anywhere.

Maybe Bolling knows something.

I would vote for Paul to deny Romney the win and the delegates.

The GOP-E set it up as a winner takes all delegates primary with no write-in option.

Virginia illustrates what a farce and waste of money these primaries/caucuses are. The nation should have one primary day where all the states select the nominees of each party. The primary day should have 3 or 4 debates leading up to it.

I like the idea of having 5 primary dates with 10 regionally diverse states voting on each day. 2 north 2 south, 2 east, 2 west and 2 central.

To Kenmcg, first of all whatever happened to “state rights”and ability to exercise the best way to run their individual state elections.

Second of all If all the primaries were held on the same day, how would the candidates get around and introduce themselves to each state.

Third.. First impressions of a candidate are not always accurate, the process reveals who should be the nominee for each party in each state.

Fourthly, only 4 debates tell us nothing about who the candidates are.

Last.. Virginia is not a waste of voters rights in primaries and caucuses, they have their rules and guidelines to be elected in their state, they are posted on every Sec. of States website in every state, how to qualify to be on the ballot. Look it up, do your homework.

Your fantasy of Sarah Palin as President is just that a fantasy, not going to happen. Obama happened though didn’t it, and it can happen again on Nov 6,2012 while you and your friends are staying home pouting, that you did not get your candidate nominated.

I won’t be voting for the anointed one Mr. Bolling.
And I won’t be voting for you either.

Crazy Uncle Ron is getting my primary vote and I’m supporting Cuccinelli all the way.

So FUBB.

Do your homework! Wow Va. is getting to choose between Paul or Romney, big whoop! The voters are being denied the opportunity to vote for other candidates. These are federal offices these folks are running for. Should Iowa or New Hampshire have so much sway to nominate as they do now? I think not. This is 2012 not 1812 when there was no mass communication. If a voter can’t choose a candidate without looking him in the eye and shaking their hand shame on them.

One has to make a good decision knowing that Obamacare is locked in with Mitt Romney as the GOP candidate. No matter who we vote for, Romney will shove it to the states to administer ala Romneycare.

So what is there to pout about with Obama versus Romney?

We go down the same rathole no matter who we vote for.
