Bill O'Reilly pronounces it "Fluck."

Which brings to mind the famous anecdote about the British actress Diana Dors:

Diana Dors once asked and readily agreed to open a fete in her home town of Swindon. She lunched with the local vicar, during which, she let slip that her real name was Diana Fluck. The vicar became somewhat worried about his planned speech.

After lunch, they arrived at the appointed time. The vicar began and uttered these immortal words. 'Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great pleasure that I introduce to you, our star guest, we all love her and especially as she is our local girl. I therefore feel it right to introduce her by her real name, Ladies and Gentlemen, Miss Diana Clunt.

Planned Parenthood = not free

How Do I Get Birth Control Pills? How Much Do Birth Control Pills Cost?

First, you’ll need to get a prescription. Visit a Planned Parenthood health center, a clinic, or a private health care provider for a prescription. Your health care provider will discuss your medical history with you, check your blood pressure, and give you any other medical exam that you may need. If you need an exam, it may cost about $35–$250.

Birth control pills may be purchased with a prescription at a drugstore or clinic. They cost about $15–$50 a month.

Planned Parenthood works to make health care accessible and affordable. Some health centers are able to charge according to income. Most accept health insurance. If you qualify, Medicaid or other state programs may lower your health care costs.

Call your local Planned Parenthood health center to get specific information on costs.

“Planned Parenthood = not free”

DO THEY HAVE TO BE FREE???!!! Geez, what is with people? I don’t care if they are free or not. I know several women who go to the local Health Center for their exam and 1 years worth of pills. The cost is $12. AGAIN - 12 DOLLARS for a YEAR’S SUPPLY and EXAM. I think ANYONE can afford $12 for a year. And guess what, all of those women have health insurance. So their employer pays for health insurance, tax payers pay for the health centers and all they have to do is pay 12 EFFIN dollars. Get a grip. $1 per month, that’s close enough to free for me. Is that too much for you to pay? If you can’t afford $12 a year, you have much bigger problems. Even if you pay your $35-$250 for an exam and $15 per month. So what!!!

If you really can’t afford $1 per month or you can’t find a guy to pay 20 cents for a rubber to have sex with you, I feel really sorry for you.

I might get behind a plan which has taxpayers and employers pay for mandatory permanent sterilization of anyone who thinks that they should bear no responsibility for themselves. That would be a good start to ridding us of the leaches on the left.

To recap the story of Ms. Fluke and her birth control problem -- let's see:
1. Ms. Fluke attends Georgetown Law School that costs over $40,000 per year, not including room and board that are extra. She spends $1,000 on birth control per year because the school health service does not provide it free. That means at $1 per condom, Ms. Fluke is having sex 2.74 times per day, 24/7/365. When does she find time to go to class or study?

2. The Washington, DC Health Department issues free condoms. Ms. Fluke and her poor female student sisters could go there and get their freebies.

3. Understandably, Ms. Fluke cannot charge her professors for sex in exchange for passing grades, so she ought to charge her other hookups a minimum of $2-5 to cover the cost of the condoms — one for an emergency stash and one to go.

4. If Ms. Fluke should get very experienced by her numerous hookups, she might consider becoming the second Heidi Fleiss [aka Hollywood Madam] to the Washington, DC movers and shakers. Heidi made hundreds of thousands — even millions — of tax free dollars running a top-of-the-line “escort service” for the rich and famous. Now, consider how much Heidi Fleiss made in comparison with the most expensive lawyer hourly rate. No contest. Heidi Fleiss wins and the lawyers lose big time.

But Heidi was running a traditional business, dealing with actual needs. Miss Fluke--unless she is an unwed mother, I will not use the disparaging Ms.--is a professional agitator--a form of parasite, now all too common in contemporary America.

I do not know enough about Heidi's business practices to form a moral judgment; but it seems a stretch to even suggest that she ever stooped to the level of Miss Fluke; or was the sort of exhibitionist that Miss Fluke appears to have been--which itself violates traditional moral codes..

Perhaps we need to send boxes of condoms to the Dean of the Law School for the safety of the needy students. They would be buried in supply. I will send a dozen on Monday. Anyone else?

I agree. Heidi Fleiss had far more class than Sandra Fluke will ever have on her best day. She is a lawyer wannabe bottom feeder, but I repeat myself.

I will chip in and buy her some birth control, something that ugly and vile does not need to breed.

There are terms that describe this that are not so derogatory and demeaning. Plus, not every girl who is on birth control would fit the denotation of the word “slut” either. Any girl who decides to be sexually active might want birth control, even if they only sleep with one guy and are in a committed relationship.

WHich I’m sure some people would still say qualifies as being a “slut”. But my point wasn’t even whether a term would apply — I’m talking about the OUTCOME of the statement. I don’t want to get into an argument over whether women should be called names or not, it’s enough for me to point out that the results of that action have distracted us from the real issue, and given the democrats a big leg up, and helped hide the facts of THIS story we are reading here.

And yes, his statements have had the effect of helping the democrats label the issue as “men trying to demean women”, and if you don’t see that, it’s because you don’t want to believe the facts. Not that we ARE doing that, just that this is what the story has been turned into, because of the statement.

As usual you are wrong.

If you read my post (and actually understood it) you would not have had to presume anything about "where I am going with this". I went there already.

I am furious that Rush went off the rails and surrendered a winning argument by getting personal and ugly.

He shot us all in the foot.

Even worse - this was called an “informal hearing” - which while perhaps controversial, has no effect on already passed legislation.

Rush has always been good being provocative, without making himself the story...he should have stayed on the humorous side.

He could have gotten by just with the “she’s having so much sex...” part - and made his point. (which I think was more about the 3000 dollar figure)

Rush has stayed away from the BC story. He should make discussing Arpaio’s findings the main topic of discussion next week, now that he has everyone’s attention. Payback is a slut.

Why not send thousands of condoms with micro holes in them? That would even be better IMHO.

“He shot us all in the foot.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Speak for yourself, Surrender Monkey. As for me - my foot is fine.
You would prefer that Rush had used more “civil” language and as a result, this debate would not have been national news? You would prefer that Fluke had gotten away with what she did without a strong condemnation from anyone on the right?
Look. Because Rush called her a Slut - it proves to the leftists that we SoCons are NOT just going to sit by and swallow load after load of the social attacks THEY bombard us with daily.
I’m so sorry such strong language on Rush’s part offended your delicate sensibilities, and I’m sorry that you obviously agree wtih wimps like Boehner who called Rush’s remarks “inappropriate”, but I am happy as hell that someone like Rush has the cajones to simply state an obvious and fundamental truth; Fluke is a Slut.
So “Mr Shot in the Foot”; you just limp over to the sidelines and let us real conservatives kick some butt.
