On March 1, at our local Wisconsin newspaper website their was a coordinated purging of conservatives that post comments/opinions. They want to silence all conservatives voices. They are stopping at nothing to seize and maintain power.
I do not see this ending well. I now have no doubts that we are headed for bloodshed before this is over. This year may be the ending of our republic, it is hanging by a string now.

IMHO our grandpa and grandma’s democrat party got lost in the second half of the 20th century. Barney Frank, Anthony Wiener, Chuck U. Shumer, Barack H Obama, the author of “Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot” the impeached Bill Clinton.
The list is as endless as the list of registered democrats most of whom will resort to just about anything to maintain their power, and the rest of them will remain complicit in their silence. A nation cannot stand that is divided, and we surely are divided as any day in any congress state or federal is ugly witness.
At times like these, I question how one can utter the words God bless America when we realize what we are asking considering just the single issue of aborting the generations that will not follow the present. How far we have fallen in such a short time. Sack cloth and ashes comes to mind, and if not, what does the future hold?
A sustaining thought is, just how noisy and empty the cart must be for the purveyors of the cart contents, to continue to shout down the good in this country. The good will prevail, or we will cease to be a country.

However, do you agree there is a war going on - a cultural war? It's being fought on sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Do we cede the battlefield to the left and stay here in our comfort zone bitching and moaning about the war going on around us, but not willing to join the battle? Who do you think will win the war when one side has left the field?
I cannot wait to vote these bastards into little sniveling crybabies with no political power at all.
I hope to hear the sounds of heads exploding in Madison (20 miles from here)after each election this year.
I will also tune in (a rare thing) to the local liberal network news on election nights to see the obvious gloom on their faces as they say “Walker” won (never “Governor Walker”).
The TEA Party isn’t going away, we’re only getting stronger and they know it. Our principles don’t vanish, our resolve is firm, to defeat socialism where ever it infects America.

Absolute agreement, It appears we may have a little disagreement on the “field of battle”.
The principle behind FB and twitter just leaves me speechless. inane attempts at one sided conversation faceless horn tooting, and the ability to say anything particularly disgusting without thinking about consequences.
I have a problem with drive through banking, much less any of the other ideas of faceless interaction/transaction I don’t do faceless banking.
I believe FR was way ahead of its time, where one can have a learning experience while engaged in faceless conversation. Twitter and FB and the other “social networking” sites IMHO bastardized the process, and began appealing to the masses as a business model using the same folks addicted (so to speak) to texting. Faceless conversation.
Yea, I’m probably showing my age, but I’m also sure there are plenty of folks of a much younger age willing to call social networking their battle field, saving me from having to consider it. Texting to me is the last ditch, low battery, personal locator for one stuck in a blizzard, with just enough signal for texting but not enough for voice reception.
