Terribly disappointing.

I’ve tuned into him nearly every weekday, and gratefully so, since 1988.

We’ve all heard Rush hedge a little in the past, and at times more or less rearrange his phrasing or his stance on one issue or another.

But beyond that he was always the one guy who stood by the hard truth and at times the hard word.

Now he is no different from any other pol or bigmouth who, in the face of pressure, shrugs and says he didn’t mean it.

If he couldn’t take the heat from his sponsors and so on, then he shouldn’t have put himself out there, and us with him.

You either didn't read what he said or are too diminished in capacity to understand it. Looks like all that time since 1988 was pretty much wasted on you.
