Rush ought to come back with a new proposal that fully accomodates the Democrats. How about free, federal government provided contraception for anyone who signs a written statement declaring themselves to be a Democrat. That way they will decrease their numbers in a generation.

Sen. Murray would be loudly against this, but couldn’t tell you why.

Rush has been leading an activist movement for decades. Unlike cheap talk politicians, he funds his forum through smart business practices. His sponsors aren’t coerced into advertising on EIB - unlike gov’t lobbying and quidproquo activities. And his sponsors get great exposure - well worth their money.
Rush is way above political pandering. I would never want to see him enter the political cesspool.
