"I’d be much more sympathetic if Rush hadn’t thrown US under the bus today."

Based on that statement, I don't think you would have been at all.

This fair-weather friendship is what takes place when we sit back and let someone else do the fighting for us, and they when they stumble, blame them for not doing enough.

One reason the libs make fools out of the conservatives is us using self-rightous indignation as an excuse for not sticking together and speaking in one voice. The left is in lockstep all the way when fighting their enemies (us), and all they have to do it say the least little thing and the conservatives start in-fighting.

Out of the millions of words and years of Rush standing up for conservatism, putting himself out on the front lines to battle the left, and teaching us all how to identify a lefty from a mile away, you choose the fact that he has issued an "apology" to say he's thrown us "under the bus".

I think it is YOU who have thrown him under the bus.

There are only a few, really brave conservatives who dare speak up in this day and time, and Rush is, and has been the leader that started it all.

You seem to forget exactly who it is that retracted his statement.

Is you can’t see the magnitude of this betrayal, you’re not smart enough to be a conservative.

Very well said!

You point out one of the major differences between libs and conservatives. When a conservative stubs his toe, the rest are willing to throw him to the wolves insteadd of sticking together.

The left is in lockstep all the way when fighting their enemies (us), and all they have to do it say the least little thing and the conservatives start in-fighting.

The left is honest enough to know that they do not care whether they are being dishonest hypocrites. Meanwhile, the right is concerned about honesty, which is one of its major appeals to the newly converted. Is dumping that asset what you really want?

Here is what we should say: Ms. Flake is admittedly promiscuous by her own choice. She is expecting the public to pay to preclude the predictable consequences of using the reproductive organs of her body for their biological purpose. She is expecting you to buy the idea that pregnancy, the natural consequences of promiscuous behavior, is equivalent to a disease. She has a disease all right, but the cure is psychiatry, not contraceptives.

Virtually every human being knows that if a young woman has sex she might get pregnant. Every study on the consequences of female promiscuity cites venereal disease and pregnancy as likely, if not inevitable outcomes. Every study on marriage and family indicates that premarital promiscuity is bad for the stability of the succeeding family. Every study of the eventual success of children as adults suggests that the future of our society absolutely depends upon stable two-parent families.

This Flake doesn't care what her behavior costs society and she feels NO responsibility to its future. She wants to continue this self-destructive pursuit of animal gratification, and expects the government to FORCE you to pay so she can play.

Premarital sex isn't a right; it's a choice. Pregnancy isn't a disease; it is a blessing (and if you don't believe that, look at how much people will pay for infertility treatment or adoption). This young woman's values are destructive to the one essential process necessary for a successful and happy society. Yet she wants to force you to pay to make things worse... ALL so that she can have orgasms.

She is a slut. And I won't take it back.
