The Big sites aren’t loading for me either. I think I heard they were in the process of revamping them all when Andrew died. Might be happening now.
I think they are set for a major over haul very soon anyway. Usually sites go down while that is happening .

According to a post on Twitter, there’s some sort of switchover and merging going on with Breitbart’s site.
Aren’t they working on a big site makeover that AB may have decribed as Drudge 2.0? Maybe that caused a momentary glitch that you glimpsed.
I can’t get into any of the sites at the top of Breitbart.com.
Click Big Government and it goes right back to his main page.
I looked into it and got “link is broken.”
They were down about an hour ago but are back up now.
I thought it was my Mac!

THEY ARE REVAMPING THE SITES.
No, it’s just Breitbart’s front page, not any of the bigs.
THey are relaunching the new Breitbart site today; it was supposed to happen at 1 pm, but looks like it’s delayed. This relaunch is what Andrew meant by “Wait until they see what happens March 1st.”

I heard it said on Thursday:

Can’t seem to shake the feeling that the poster was right - should be an interesting few days.

I'm still in shock over Breitbart's death, but "Be Breitbart!" makes more sense to me than sorrow. He can't be replaced, so we have to do his work ourselves.

They were doing some house cleaning...the “Bigs” are now sub-pages of “Breitbart.com”. The first video of the “vetting” of BO is now posted at http://www.breitbart.com/!
Yes the new sites are up but they have ditched Intense Debate for Disqus as the comment engine. Big Mistake - pun intended.
Disqus is adequate for newspaper sites but it’s incapable of handling and delivering the volume that the Breitbart sites typically generate. Navigating pages was a pain but nothing compared to having to incessantly click the Load More Comments button.
If we are all Breitbart now then they need to facilitate a better means of communication at their sites.
