Here in Michigan the SEIU owns a fair sized chunk of the state GOP. This was the real reason for all the screeching about Santorum calling for the union vote. (Reagan did the same incidentally) He was intruding on turf that was supposed to go to Romney.

I lay out the case in post 9.

The top priority of the Tea Party and conservative Republicans should be to pass Right to Work in more states, and to pass Wisconsin-style reforms of public employee unions. The unions are major sources of support and money to the Democrats.

Unions very commonly disguise their motives behind some seemingly innocuous nonprofit citizen group.
It’s going to be fun to see the dims sink.

The Daily Caller has been doing some nice investigative work recently. Well done! Keep turning over the rocks and examining what moves.

Nothing new under the sun.

Back in the 70’s our church tried to hook-up with a “neighborhood group” of “concerned citizens”, which turned out to have direct ties to Saul Alinsky groups in Chicago.
They backed down after my mom and grandfather, among others, blew the whistle on them loud and long.
