Newt Gingrich On Meet The Press With David Gregory – March 4 2012
electad ^ | 3/4/2012 | Meet the Press

I don't know if I've ever seen a conservative handle an interview with the liberal press more brilliantly than Newt on Meet the Press yesterday. He absolutely dismantled both David Gregory and Barack Obama effortlessly and persuasively with perfect clarity, complete honesty and a "cheerful" demeanor. No matter what Gregory threw at him, Newt parried it and threw it back in his face. Gregory was visibly frustrated throughout that he couldn't lay a finger on Newt despite his best efforts. This kind of confident performance and crystal clear communication to the public is how Newt took the House back in a landslide in 1994. If you want to see Barack Obama outclassed and outgunned like this all year long then vote Newt. Here is the full video:

And a whole lot more videos are being posted every day on electad.com of all the candidates.

I haven’t checked out the video but did hear an audio clip from the inverview.

Newt made Horse Face look like the cheap, partisan, all-in-for-Zero presstitute that Gregory is.

Newt deserves all the plaudits for his performance with Gregory and for many previous outstanding moments. But if I may reiterate twin heresies to those who are for him (myself included), his nomination is in serious doubt, and if nominated, can he overcome the demonization he has undergone and defeat the Great Usurper? I say this despite full confidence that Newt would dismantle 0bummer in debates in which, by the way, I’m sure the anointed one would avoid as much as possible.

Gingrich is so good at fighting these a-holes. I took note of two things in the interview:

Gregory: What about Rush Limbaugh?!

Gingrich: This is a sorry attempt to distract from the real problems, gas prices, economy, huge debt.

Gregory: Yes, yes, but what about Rush Limbaugh?!

Gregory was as one tracked as Rain Man when he wanted to see Judge Wopner!

The other thing I noted is at the end, Gingrich said, no matter who the nominee is, they will all work together to defeat Obama. Take note Freepers.

I think if even conservatives in this primary were surprised at how well Newt performed in various debates and interviews, then the general public will also be quite surprised. If anything, this year’s election will be about people looking for a pragmatic, problem-solver. Despite Romney being hyped as that, Newt is the guy who’s come up with the most ambitious and innovative solutions and who can point to a track record in the ‘90s of putting such government reform plans into practice.

I just don’t see how the media demagogues Newt enough to drown out his very positive, ambitious messages. Newt was already on his second marriage when he had his 1994 success and was accepted as Speaker of the House, so that history didn’t seem to kill him then. I also don’t think his past will be as important to younger voters judging the candidates for the first time. They probably don’t care so much about what a candidate did 20 years ago. They didn’t care that Obama did cocaine, did they? In Georgia, Newt’s doing better with younger voters than older. As for the ethics charges, they were completely bogus. I don’t think anyone who thinks he’s “guilty” of them can even articulate what a single one of them was, since they were completely trivial stuff equivalent to parking tickets.

Because of the enormous power we give to liberals if we allow them to take our greatest conservatives out by demagoguing frivolous lawyeristic nonsense, every conservative should be electing Newt to get revenge on liberals for what they did to our movement by targetting him. With Palin, they already showed they’ll go back to the tactic of bogus ethics charges again and again if that’s all they’ve got. Now should be the time we educate the public all about that scam, because we’re eventually going to have to do it some day if we want it to stop.

Doesn’t matter to me if his nomination is in doubt or not. I’m all in. Even if it’s just a protest vote I want the GOP to know where I stand on the kind of candidates I want. We don’t have any other good candidates in the race and all have baggage and less positive accomplishments to point to.

I hope you’re right in your post #11. I have little dispute with it except, perhaps, your optimism.
