Sears is a dead company walking anyway.
Oh wait...yes, I have heard that one. Big deal.
Rush has potential advertisers lined up, according to his transcripts posted today. He said that he declined GM. When one falls away, another has a shot at it.
So many horror stories with subscribers trying to cancel with them.
And I’m glad that they can afford to alienate 20,000,000 listeners. I wonder how much money they made over the years advertising with Rush on the radio as opposed to, uh, oh, um...Alan Colmes? Mike Malloy?
And I hope Hannity and Levin tell them they have no use for them either. Levin does actual voiceover for Carbonite and Proflowers but I somehow can’t see Mark wanting anything to do with them after this.
I miss getting AOL disks in the mail frequently. They made for great target practice.
What is an AOL, some new text thing?
Ao Who?!!! lol.. didn’t they shut down 25 (or so) years ago?!
Seriously.. people still use AoL?! O.O poor people :/
Pro Flowers has several subsidiaries also like Sherri’s Berries.
Due to their disloyalty I would hope that he does not reinstate any of them. From what read on FR he has many other advertisers in the wings.
Rush does the voicing.<<
Kinda makes him a slut...No?
AOL is a virus.
“AOL is a virus.”
As are some of its users.
Despite the join date on my current name, I’ve been here long enough to remember the insufferable sitepest “ash(fill-in-this-weeks-version-name)@aol.com”
I’ve seen a few old names with n00b dates, what gives?
AOL used to be the internet (for the sheeple who didn’t know any better, but I repeat myself). Up until about 1993.
Great tip. Thank you!
I started here back around ‘96 (thanks to Drudge and the Lewinsky scandal) under a different screen name. I dropped off site after I graduated college and no longer had regular access to the ‘Net. When I got my own Net connection I “lurked” for years, but times had changed and I felt I really had nothing to add to the discussion.
When I finally decided to “jump into the fire”, I felt I was so distant from my old self (in time and personality) that I decided to start anew.
