Facebook is pulling advertising from Rush. Also can be found in news if you do a search.

Sorry if this has already been posted. I searched AOL here...but couldn't find anything. (However, for whatever reason, the FR search function seems to work inconsistently for me.)

Sorry for above post. It should read AOL(not Facebook) is pulling advertising from Rush. Link is to AOL’s facebook announcement.

Facebook is pulling advertising from Rush. I've never heard a Facebook advertisement on Limbaugh's show or anywhere else.
Have you a link to back this up?

I finally got my father-in-law off of AOL. It took days of scrubbing and a special program to recover his data.
AOL is a virus!

You beat me to it, LOL.
Their adverts on Rush are for some type of deal where their computer “experts” remotely take control of your computer and fix all its woes.

AOL is garbage! When I first connected to the Internet I had AOL, they were HORRIBLE and the prices were outrageous. Who actually uses AOL anymore? I thought they went out of business years ago..but then I read they bought the Huffington Compost so it makes sense that garbage associates with garbage

This stupid move should finish off NyetScape (AOL) for good.

AOL owns Huffingpaintpost. If they want to pretend that it will affect their nine remaining subscribers, so be it.
To: Kartographer
Kinda my thought too. I listen to Rush EVERY DAY and I don’t hear AOL commercials. They must be targeted to certain regions.
The only one that affects us is Vita-Cost, but we use Lucky Vitamin more than them, so we can very easily dump Vita-cost. I’m looking forward to hearing some new and different commercials on Rush.

Rush will still have advertisers. In a month, this will be old news and Rush will still have 20 million listeners.
And every advertiser who bailed will have to pay a premium to get reinstated.

AOL? You mean that company that used to be named in the same breath as "Time Warner," until they were dropped into the memory hole?

Rush CHOOSES his advertisers by way of his crack sales staff.
Who thinks Rush huffs the post/AOL.
Not a chance they advertise in way, shape or form on the EIB network.

Darn. I was going to boycott AOL now but I've never used it so I can't.
Well, I can resolve to never EVER use it.
