I’ll go ahead and suggest a theme one week Freepathon, to buy spots for FR on Rush’s show.
They work for a living and PAY FOR THEIR OWN CONTRACEPTIVES!
I heard Rush today and he said he had so many advertising offers he regrettably had to turn down several.
One of the big ones was GENERAL MOTORS.
See this part of his transcript:

RUSH: As I was saying, ladies and gentlemen, this show has always been about you. It has always been about meeting and surpassing your expectations as an audience on any level that I can imagine, on any level for which I have empathy. If this program were about the advertising... (laughing) you don’t know the kind of commercials you’d be treated to. I reject millions of dollars of advertising a year, much to the chagrin of my hardworking sales staff. Millions, folks, including, I might add, General Motors. What would you have thought, if, after the government took over General Motors, I started advertising General Motors? I made the decision not to accept that because you, the audience, come first. Because no successful program puts the audience second or third.
See, I understand my successes come from you. During the year, many of you regale me with how much the program has meant to you personally, your family, over the years. Every Thanksgiving and Christmas I take time out to tell you that no matter what this program’s meant to you, it can’t compare to what you have meant to me and my family. In fact, I have no adequate way to express my gratitude to you. Just doesn’t exist. It’s how great my gratitude for all of you is. Without you, advertisers would have no need to participate in this program. So what we’re gonna do is replace those that leave, those that no longer want access to you, those advertisers who no longer want your business, fine. We’ll replace them. It’s simple, really.
Rush is fine.
Stop second-guessing the guy please.
The REAL reason some of these advertisers are pulling their ads is because they are probably TANKING ANYWAY BECAUSE OF THE 0BAMA ECONOMY and now was an opportune time to act.
Did Proflowers leave or not?
Same question for Sleep Number
Must be careful when coming into contact with Toxic Slut Spill! (warning brief nudity, but pretty funny if you haven’t see this.)

Beats me.
I just counter-spin here.
yes & yes
Oh yeah, ProFlowers is toast.
Send them a message, you’ll get a canned reply that Mr Limbaugh does not represent their corporate values.
Wonder where they’ll find an audience to sell to that shares their corporate values? The View maybe? Bill Maher show? How about the radio host mocking God and the tornado deaths?
Damned near fell out my chair when she told him “Don’t .... any of those sluts.”
Apologies for the zillions of updates: The story has been unfolding all afternoon. As of 10:30pm Eastern on Friday 2 March, the current tally of confirmed Rush rejectors reads:
1) Sleep Train Mattresses
2) Select Comfort Corporation, makers of the Sleep Number Bed
3) Quicken Loans
4) The Cleveland Cavaliers, NBA Basketball team
5) Citrix, makers of GoToMyPC
6) LegalZoom.com
7) Carbonite
From the KOS site, these are the companies to email and make it clear they have lost us. It is probably worth it to note that KOS is the home of unemployed hippies whereas FR and the tea party are people who work for a living and actually buy things.
I’m boycotting all the companies that dump Rush — and letting them know why.
8)AOL
9)Tax Resolution Services
If I were any other conservative host, I’d tell Pro Flowers and Sleep Number they’re not wanted on my show either. And Carbonite.
Thanks PYW — we need to hit THEM in their wallets. This is what I am sending to all of them:
If you ever hoped to have me as a customer, that went away when you left Rush for using his 1st amendment to make a joke many liberals were too stupid to understand.
You have competitors. They will get my business.
a. Advertiser will pay for its advertising at least 3 months in advance, and such advance payments shall not be refundable if Advertiser decides to stop running its advertising on the show.
b. Advertiser will owe the show a fee, in the amount of $X (I suggest $1 million) if advertiser pulls its advertising from the show in response to pressure from groups that are opposed to the opinions expressed on the show.
c. (magic language about the penalty being liquidated damages because the harm caused to the show from an advertiser pulling out in such circumstances is difficult to ascertain, etc. Trust me, it's required.)
Rush is right, if businesses want access to us, the intelligent and wealthy audience that listens to his show, we will make them better off, and they will need to accede to these terms if they want that access, not embarrass us and make the show seem outrageous by leaving at the first sign of trouble. What is outrageous is people like Fluck and the marxists who are taking over our country and turning us into slaves.
