Carbonite type cloud computing services stirp their customers of their Fifth Amendment Rights, recent court rulings and a pending appeal to the US Supreme Court are putting the entire cloud computing industry at risk of being antithetical to the natural born rights of man enshrined in the Bill of Rights.

On top of that, newer cloud computing companies have much lower cost per new customers...

That being said, Carbonite can get fluked in the klymer.

Do you realize that “Cloud” is just a marketing term for internet...

At first things were called Internet Sites. Then when those sites started to allow users to post things and retrieve things they started calling them Internet Applications... Once those same internet sites started serving non-browser based services (still via HTTP) they want to market themselves as “Cloud Computing”

Cloud = Internet... no difference, no new technologies or specifications.
