RE: I will be cancelling my subscription to Netflix immediately.

Don’t just cancel, TELL THEM YOUR REASON.

AFL-CIO has many jobless members which they can employ on short notice in phone banks across the country to hammer issues. They used this tool to pressure Congress on ObamaCare and apparently to go after Glen Beck's advertisers.

Sorts is funding the grunt work, and the media creates the story.

There’s no easy solution, but a rare, extremely clever candidate can take them on directly. Newt can do it. Sometimes Santorum does. Sarah was pretty good, too.

The media has it cranked up to 11. We’re in a fight for our lives. It’s too late to establish the run. We have to throw deep, and often.

I sent a nasty-gram to Sears this morning regarding Rush and I almost immediately got the following response:

Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting Sears.com. Sears and Kmart did not buy media or sponsorships on the Rush Limbaugh show. It is possible that a station incorrectly ran one of our ads on or adjacent to the show, but we would need to know the market and day to determine this. Sears Holdings does not purchase media based on political affiliations or views.

I typed this into Google, a bunch of sites came up telling how to contact Rush's advertisers. From the leftists of course, but no reason we can't use the info.

Google contact rush advertisers

The list of advertisers makes no sense as to there pulling out. There is something else going on here.

I think some are local, some are gone for a long time, and some are just pulled out of thin air to make themselves look like they are winning.

However, it sure doesn’t hurt for companies like Netflix to understand what would happen should they join this nonsense.

This isn’t a happy development, but in every danger there is opportunity, and I say this is a good time for something new from Rush:

Short VIDEOS delivered to mobile devices like iPhone and Droid, and the format would be an older, more political version of the Phil DeFranco show, which is on YouTube and gets 7 million hits (admittedly for a different demo). Another example of someone older is Pat Condell, though his format is a little different;

Rush would introduce news stories that interest him, give short, witty, mordant commentary, and then move on, giving a chance to win something to the wittiest clip follow-up comment:

Each spot would be between 2.5-5 minutes and would feature cut-aways to photos and short clips, video editing of the type on the Phillip DeFranco show.

There will be computers always, but we’ve only started to see the growth of mobile devices and Rush needs to catch that (non Sleep) train.

I love radio, but it’s a dying medium and I don’t Rush to die with it.

It will be interesting to see if Limbaugh remains on the radio. The left is very powerful, well organized and is going all out to get him. Their petition to a friendly leftist FCC is gathering steam.

See my post #35 re Netflix. They may not be advertisers of the Limbaugh show. Let’s check it out, first.

Businessinsider.com is left leaning, so this information is trumped up quite a bit. One hint of its bias is the source of the information: MediaMatters. Media Matters is documented to be tightly connected to the Obama administration.

Most of these advertisers are local to a particular radio market. A few of them are national ads. But the article lumps them all together. 20-30 advertisers out of 600 radio stations? That’s not a lot.

Rush has 20 million listeners. He will not have any problems filling the slots. Nor will the local stations.

Many of them sre leftist companies; you can tell by their names and/or products.

Thanks so much for putting the list here; I'm noting it so that we are certain to never do business with any of them. They are trampling on the First Amendment, and I will not so business with them.

They are not "doing the right thing", so they can stop putting that in their replies. They are doing precisely the wrong thing. Just ask Ronald Reagan and the Founding Fathers.

Is it just me, or are more than a few of these companies in a mess? Sears is going down the tubes, Sleep Number has closed outlets in my area, and the rest seem to be seasonal companies that got wide advertising around Mother’s day or tax season. The only company on this list that I see that I was faintly interested in was Sleep Number and I just bought a Tempurpedic instead.

Big whoop...

Well tell Netflix to start. Time should be cheaper now. Tell ‘em you need to cut your budget but you never cut anyone who advertises on Rush and you’ll give ‘em a couple weeks to buy in.

They have tried before and failed, and will again. They are not so powerful as they want you to believe.

I choose not to get overly worked up about this; I suspect that a good many of the advertisers will return within a few months' time.

I called Oreck and they told me that they did not run ads on Rush either. I think there is possibly some misunderstanding in all of these.

C’mon, everybody, THIS IS WAR. The left wants us dead...they are hell-bent on destroying one of us, they are ORGANIZED, and they work at it.

Here's the list of advertisers who bailed on Rush, and are supporting a blacklist AGAINST Rush, our freedom of speech and We the People

Get their contact info: names and addresses, email, phone numbers, etc. Then post them on FreeRepublic. And then make your calls, send your emails, post on their web sites., Facebook.

These leftists are trying to kill us...remember that, and start fighting with all you've got. We've got work to do...and remember Andrew Breitbart. He was a WARRIOR, and he took no leftist crap. Pick up the banner and let's roll.
