I watched an interview on our local tv news station last night with Romeny in Zanesville, OH. He looked danged stupid in his blue jeans. We all know he’s a suit and tie kind of guy. He isn’t one of us, and Ohioans know it.
Yes, I caught a glimpse of him in that get-up too. He looked stiff as could be.
Decades ago, I realized that when I wore a suit, it made it very hard to do physical work. You don’t want to screw up your suits, so you don’t do some of the things you used to.
My take on it is that Romney hasn’t done much physical work in forty years. That’s not going to be conducive to him being seen as ‘one of the boys’ just because he goes casual.

Please don’t tell me Mittens was also seen in Bruno Maglis and holding a paint ball rifle or an actual shotgun.
