‘GOP excitement’ cannot be sustained because the news media won’t allow it. They’re already in full-blown ‘protect Romney’ mode which will morph SOLELY into ‘protect 0bama’ mode upon Romney’s nomination. America fell asleep for far too long while the Progressives were quietly at work, using teacher’s unions to produce mostly politically brain dead zombies indoctrinated into their cause. Today, most of the younger crowd are diehard socialists; Socialists who prefer style over substance, government over personal freedom, pro-abortion over pro-life, etc..

I’m afraid that as far as anyone between the ages of 18 and 35, you’ve nailed it. I have a good friend who is a 28 year old, and she told me she “wouldn’t mind” socialism, but yet, is really sick of all this entitlement mentality!”
I had to just scratch my head ...it’s like she really doesn’t get what she doesn’t even understand ...they are confused and very misguided, a lot of the young people nowa days.
And they ARE all about image. It’s so true.
