As Andrea Rossi discusses the commercialization of E-Cat Technology one thing seems to becoming clearer by the day: he is focusing much more now on the production of electricity. Two thermal energy producing E-Cats have been designed, the 1 MW plant now on the market, and the 10 kW units that Leonardo Corp is gearing up to mass produce. Rossi seems to be pleased with both these products but it is pretty clear that he is not satisfied enough to stop working towards the goal of the efficient production of electricity from his inventions. One of the key reasons for this is that if enough electricity can be produced from his technology he can start to work on a closed-loop system in which E-Cats produce the electricity that can power the E-Cat reactors so that both heat and electricity can be produced with no need for an external energy source

All of his tests he’s had his units hooked up to external power generators for ‘safety. Either these things can run without external safety generators or they can’t. He wants to tout these things as self-sustaining, he better operate them the way he is saying they can operate, and the way his customers expect them to work. If I buy a power generating e-cat for the house, I don’t want to have to have a gas generator attached to it and running all the time for ‘safety reasons.
At least Turbochargers do wind up extracting more energy that would be wasted out the tailpipe.
That's a Scam ~ billions and billions spent looking for a non existent particle.
Don’t know anything about the fellow.
Since when does a turbocharger extract energy from anything? What you are inferring is completely bizarre.
I was thinking of exhaust gas recirculation systems.
Yeah, I had to have a think on that a bit before I got what you were trying to say, and I also “supercharger” on the brain.
In a way, the turbos use exhaust gas to spin their air compressor, so they are eeking out more energy from the exhaust gas, they are just not burning the exhaust gas again to extract more energy out of it like an exhaust gas recirculation system does.
