From the photo it looks like Miss Coulter is enjoying herself at some sort of cocktail party, apparently the center of attention and basking in the approval and acceptance of (what I can only imagine are) National Review, Weekly Standard and Wall Street Journal-types.
We should be happy for her, considering everything that she has done in increasing our consciousness over the last ten or so years, until recently of course. Once on the outside looking in, now she is an insider.
Of course, by befriending and adhering to an insectile, turd creature: Bill Maher, and supporting a reptile like Romney, she has made it clear that she is no longer a friend of conservatives.
In sum it’s really not much different from the Crips and the Bloods: You choose your side, you live with the consequences. Just re-stating what we already know as we separate from the sheep from the goats in the months to come. Death to the moderate GOP.
I’ve defended Ann Coulter in the past in spite of her very mild endorsement of Romney because she’s not the first person to make a mistake. But her attacks on Santorum and Gingrich are not helpful at all and if Obama is reelected (ugh), it’ll be harder to forgive and forget.
Reagan was next in line. He lost to Ford in 1976.
She called Newt “crazy” on “Redeye” one night. She and Beck ae out to destroy him as a person. Not only that, but they are doing so with glee. I consider it pure evil myself.
The wives do the sewing...
A lot of FR members were there too, and I took a lot of pictures. One of which is the one at the top of this thread.
We all had a great time!
Oh, and the GOP is in the process of committing political suicide. RIP GOP
I’ve heard of guys carrying a torch, but Mitt looks like he’s proclaiming his undying love to it.
>> Reagan beat the odds and took out an incumbent by waging a charm campaign
How did Sarah describe last night, cheerful? Obviously, Cheerful has an edge up on Stiff, Disbelief, and... uh... Critical.
Romney has gotten where he is now in this race thanks to money. Tons of it, relative to Gingrich and Santorum, but a drop in the bucket compared to what BHO will have available. Recently it’s been written that he has used up most of the funds already that he’d planned on using through (at least) the nomination and is now fundraising for donations from small donors.
Romney, if he gets the nomination, may ultimately win the votes of most Gingrich/Santorum voters, but he won’t get them out as on-the-ground volunteers that are vital to any campaign. I don’t see hordes of folks willing to walk door to door to speak with voters or for lit drops, or standing outside polls, encouraging voters to go R, or working the phones, and all the other low level work that is done. I can see are the young Mormon missionaries taking up the slack. But that’s not the same as people in your own neighborhood doing the volunteer work.
One has to wonder if Romney’s ‘celebrity’ backers, Ann, the Buchanans, the Macks, et al have ever volunteered their time to work a campaign, or do they think it’s all done by [paid] consultants?
Ann Coulter, what a joke. She has no credibility any more with any conservative.
