On February 29, The Washington Post created a scandal for the Catholic Archdiocese of Washington by dramatizing the denial of communion to lesbian activist Barbara Johnson at her mother’s funeral. Reporter Michelle Boorstein painted an emotional picture of a Catholic daughter being publicly shamed by a priest at her lowest moment.
But new details keep ruining the Post’s report. Thomas Peters at Catholic Vote today reveals that Johnson has publicly declared she is a Buddhist, and not a Catholic! The Post is going to need to fill the Corrections box.

1. Before the funeral mass, Barbara Johnson went into to the sacristy and introduced her lesbian “partner” to Father Marcel.
2. Father Marcel also did not publicly denounce Miss Johnson, instead he quietly whispered to her that he could not give her communion.

Sounds like a Fluke to me. She goes to work for an organization that she disagrees with in order to change it. A radical. The Roman Catholic Church has the right to decide who receives communion at their altar.

And will the Washington Archdiocese rescind its apology to Ms. Johnson and its reprimand to the priest? As likely as the WaPo retraction, unfortunately.

They appear to be in lock step like a mob. As Ann Coulter describes them in Demonic:

In my opinion, The mob will destroy a nation and turn it into a bloody totalitarian dictatorship overnight. It was the French Revolution that killed 600,000 people in a country of 25 million people. It was Stalin's forced starvation of Ukrainians that killed 15 million. It is the manipulation of the mob that brought pictures like this below:
The chin drooling lesbos get people excited in many different ways. The post uses this to help peddle their lies.
Even the SS had its share of fruits. Even though being gay was illegal in Nazi Germany, There was still a lot of queers in high posts.
IMHO being gay was accepted in Nazi Germany.IIRC, they stopped arresting queers and throwing them in camps before the war started.
Obama would rather eat his Catholics than lose the election. Where’s a big city Catholic going to go? They’re solidly on the plantation. Without the willing Catholic vote Democrats would lose en mass across the nation.
I would like to think those Catholics were only doing it because conspirators in the Church hierarchy convinced them that there was no conflict between Catholicism & Democrats; they’d be hard pressed to arrive at that conclusion now.
Probably just wishful thinking on my part; as a Catholic I’m surprised at how many Catholics think I’m twisted for saying voting for a pro-abortion candidate is being an accomplice to murder.

maybe it’s time to have protests at these MSM HQ’s and demand they stop telling only the B/S bias and instead just report the facts and do that reporting when they have the facts after an investigation.
The left gets their headlines and because the left are not too bright they think that headline is the truth instead of them actually doing some research.
That’s my hope as well. I know too many Democrat CINOs who attend multiple masses during the week. Don’t they understand the doctrine of their church?
If Catholics would simply return to their faith and practice it we could bury the Democratic Party.

No, it’s personal. The Publisher’s house would be a better venue for a demonstration.
It kills many birds for the libs. Keep in mind that Scalia, Alito, Roberts and Thomas are Catholics who appear to live what they believe. The court has 6 Catholics if you count flag-in-the-wind Kennedy and archliberal Sotomayor.
