Probably not. The White Hut only does things that are to its political advantage ie. produce more votes for the Kenyon Punk!

A tornado destroyed my Son’s house last April on Camp Lejuene. My DIL was reaching for my Grandson in his crib when the entire 2nd floor flew off the house, burying both of them in the rubble. My 20 month old Grandson was nearly killed and spent a month in the hospital. He had so many internal injuries and broken bones that we thought he wouldn’t survive this. But now he is doing great.

My Daughter-in-law still feels guilty and responsible for him being hurt so badly. My Son was away at a training exercize in California and feels guilty for no being there. This has been very difficult on them. They have lost their faith.

I hope this lady and her family heal from this but it could take a very long time to come to grips with what happened.

I am praying for your son and his wife. I am so sorry that happened to them. Praise God that your grandchild is recovered from such a horrible experience!

“They have lost their faith...”

Remind them that evil is not from God - it is from Satan and is a result of original sin; we live in a fallen world. God allowed the entrance of evil into the world in order to preserve our free will.

Prayers for all and Praise God your Grandson is doing great!!

Sincere prayers for this poor woman and her family.

BUT:

The media obviously are sensationalizing this sad event, just as they sensationalize so many other stories. The woman didn't lose her legs because she was sheltering her children. She lost parts of her legs because debris (reported in another account to have been steel beams) fell on her.

Here's the point: It's not really relevant to her loss that she was on top of the children. I think it's safe to assume she would have taken shelter in the same basement spot even if the children were away, in which case she still would have had basically the same injuries to her legs.

I think she had amputations — one below the knee, and one just above the knee, middle of the thigh. It’s not like both legs were completely destroyed.

With some prothesis, maybe she will be able to walk again.

So many advances now in this area from the Gulf wars.

What lady. Amazing that you can wake up one day and have to deal with such a situation. But I believe MOST moms would do the same if called to do it.

Remember being in Alabama, hubby deployed, in a hallway under mattresses with my 3 and 7 year old at the time. Luckily it was more high hurricane winds, but nothing I’d like to repeat.
