It appears that as a result of Congressman Darrell Issa’s February 28 announcement that Attorney General Eric Holder and the DOJ were not complying with the investigation into gun-walking ties to death of Federal Agent Jaime Zapata, six more U.S. Reps have added their names to the list calling for Holder’s resignation.

The six Reps, Bill Huizenga (R-MI), Cory Gardner (R-CO), Pete Olson (R-TX), Mike Conaway (R-TX), Cliff Stearns (R-FL) and Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL), bring the total number of House members calling for Holder’s resignation to 109.

And four of these six—Huizenga, Gardner, Olson, and Conaway—have also signed Rep. Paul Gosar’s official House resolution expressing “no confidence” in Holder.

Too little
Too late IMO

The craven, whimpering, cowards in Congress are waiting to see whether or not Hussein gets elected or not before choosing the right thing to do.

Even if, by some act of God, Holder is ousted, Hussein will just replace him with another Farrakhan/Wright wannabe.

Nope.

Nothing changes until Obama is gone. This is all just a BS dog and pony show.

109 out of 400+. What a disgrace. Obviously, this allows holder to ignore them. Congress ought to resign

Resignation is not good enough! Holder and his boss need to be tried and prosecuted. Crimes have been committed and people have died as a result of those crimes.

Sorry, resignation is NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Eric Holder and everyone else involved MUST face criminal penalties for F&F. The Government must repeal a large section of gun control as a punitive measure and NO MORE GUN CONTROL EVER!

Anything less will not be acceptable.

Never gonna happen. He has Obama’s and Soros’ backing. We are stuck with him so long as POS is in the White House.

My letter I got from Sen Feinstein.

Dear Ms.

Thank you for your letter urging that a special prosecutor be appointed to investigate Attorney General Eric Holder. I appreciate the time you took to write and welcome the opportunity to respond.

As you may be aware, Attorney General Holder testified at a Department of Justice Oversight hearing before the House Judiciary Committee on May 3, 2011. At that hearing, Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA) asked Mr. Holder when he first learned of Fast and Furious. Mr. Holder responded, “I’m not sure of the exact date, but I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.” Additionally, when Representative Jason Chaffetz asked the Attorney General when he learned of Fast and Furious, Mr. Holder reiterated that he was unsure.

On November 8, 2011, during a Department of Justice oversight hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Attorney General elaborated on his testimony before the House Judiciary Committee. In response to a question from Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-VT), Mr. Holder clarified that he became aware of “Fast and Furious” in February 2011 and could have been clearer in his testimony before the House.

After reviewing the Attorney General’s testimonies, it does not appear to me that he perjured himself. Mr. Holder’s uncertainty about the dates he learned of Fast and Furious—which he himself admitted—does not, in my view, rise to the level of perjury.

As the Attorney General has acknowledged, there were problems with Fast and Furious. You may be interested to know that the Department of Justice Inspector General is currently investigating the operation and hopefully that investigation will provide a comprehensive analysis of what went wrong and how the ATF can avoid similar problems in the future.

While we may have different perspectives on this particular issue, I respect your opinion. If you have further comments or questions, feel free to contact my staff in Washington, D.C. at (202) 224-3841 or visit my website at http://feinstein.senate.gov.

Sincerely yours,

Dianne Feinstein
United States

The letter I sent to my reps.

December 8, 2011
Dear Representative Gardner:
Dear Senator Udall:
Dear Senator Bennet:

Let's call Fast and Furious, Castaway, "Grenade Walker" and "Cash Walker" what they are. State-sponsored terrorism.

On this side of the border they are violations of the RICO Act. In Mexico and Honduras it is state-sponsored terrorism.

What else would you call heavily arming international criminal syndicates within foreign countries wherein those countries are in a death struggle with those syndicates?

Especially when it goes beyond thousands of assault rifles to include grenades, RPGs, shoulder fired rockets, anti-aircraft guns, night vision equipment, body armor and special deals to bring their drugs onto our soil with legal impunity?

Not to mention the just-revealed news that the rip crew that killed BP Agent Brian Terry was there with DEA and FBI assistance and approval to attack and kill a rival cartel's smuggling crew.

Let's not leave out the FBI and DEA laundering millions of dollars for the drug cartels by setting up bank accounts for them that they otherwise couldn't do.

It is organized, it is spread throughout every Federal LEA and it violates numerous domestic laws and numerous statutes and treaties that deal with foreign nations. Yet none of it has been officially sanctioned by Congress. (that I know of) It is the Federal government acting like mafioso.

Pres. Obama, AG Eric Holder and Sec. State Hillary Clinton are all deeply involved in this and it is unquestionably state-sponsored terrorism by the definition used to define states like Iran and North Korea.

PS: if you think I am wrong or exaggerating any of this I will be glad to bring you up to speed with very well sourced articles, legal depositions (publically available) and other public information that verifies every word I have said.

Either you are with these criminals or you are with U.S. I implore you to get informed, get involved and act or get run over by this. This lawless scandal is not going away.

Sincerely,

Mr. (TigersEye)

Here is a petition to call for Eric Holder's prosecution.
Tea Party Petition to Prosecute Eric Holder

After signing the petition you will get an automatic way to send an e-mail to your Congressman and Senators. You can use their text or fill in your own.

I strongly encourage all FReepers to sign that petition and to send their own thoughts about this to their Congress critters. Let them know that you are aware of this issue and that you are not going to forget about it. Let them know you will be watching to see what they do about it.
