This is not even disputable.

Soldiers, sailors and Marines should avoid making any kind of political or partisan statements while in uniform. The military is not partisan and the uniform should not be dishonored by such activity.

1) We are not required to follow unlawful orders, regardless of who gives them.

2) We are required to follow the orders of the POTUS, whether we like it or not. That’s the game we signed up for. ETS if you don’t like it.

So how do you reconcile not following unlawful orders with following the unlawful orders of the POTUS?

IOW, you can follow unlawful orders, as long as they are given by the President of the United States. Do I have that right?

I'm getting it. Either you can't explain it or you have no idea what you are talking about.

The lack of reading comprehension on this thread is astounding to me. Such plain language, yet so little understanding.

“When we assumed the soldier we did not lay aside the citizen,” from then-Gen. George Washington’s June 26, 1775, letter to the Provincial Congress is inscribed inside the apse.
