The 11 Democratic defections were Sens. Max Baucus (Mont.), Mark Begich (Alaska), Bob Casey (Pa.), Kent Conrad (N.D.), Kay Hagan (N.C.), Mary Landrieu (La.), Joe Manchin (W.Va.), Claire McCaskill (Mo.), Mark Pryor (Ark.), Jon Tester (Mont.) and Jim Webb (Va.).
Just a cover your ass vote by these cowards since they knew the others were voting against it...especially Mark Pryor. He would like to have voted with the rest of the loons but being from an oil state he would have committed political suicide.
Yes, but that doesn't keep the GOP from taking advantage of the fact that the pipeline is very popular, and not just in oil-producing states.
