Why would a government "Energy Secretary" be provided limousines and security?
Why are these people, so-called "Public servants" being treated like kings and royalty?
Representatives need no security.
Rulers require security from the people.
Dragnet, come work security overseas like I do. You think he’s being treated like a king and royalty. You should see the display when members of congress visit places like Iraq and Afghanistan. Its nothing buy disgusting.
I’m sure some of these people go to DC, kind of like Mr. Smith did. But, after a steady dose of people getting your coffee, lunch, opening doors, getting your booze, driving you everywhere, and basically kissing your ass to no end, they get used to it and feel entitled. Its no wonder they all make it a career.
And Chu, as disgusting as he is, is a Cabinet Secretary. No different than Clinton or Panetta.
