I defend all GOP candidates. Stories like this will be used against any nominee and are ridiculous. I understand your point, but the consistently frustrating thing is, they do it to themselves and make it easy for the LMS to jump all over it.
It's weird that after all these years of campaigning, Romney is seriously gaff prone. It's like he's learned nothing. At least just to keep his mouth shut.
