Well then Mr. Robinson will need to ZOT half of Free Republic since at least half of the folks here are supporting Santorum, not Gingrich. If one gets zotted merely for expressing opposition to Newt, then I really don’t want to be a part of Free Republic. But frankly, I think Mr. Robinson is secure enough in his choice of candidate that he can accept some criticism of him-—and like I said I doubt he really wants to lose half his contributors/readers.

Oh nobody is being zotted for 'opposing' Newt, what some posters are being zotted for is the unwarranted trashing and slashing in drive-by attacks without substance. JimRob stated that it wasn't going to be tolerated, and he was correct in saying so.

Your comments in your original post #74 (included below) didn't even fall into the category of 'criticism', your comments were the typical Newt-hating garbage that has been generated by other posters just like you. Your #74 contained no criticism whatsoever, it did contain a pile of insults, unfounded accusations, and ridicule of posters who DO support Newt, and there isn't a fig leaf anywhere that you can hide behind and claim that your words were 'criticism'.

Notice Gingrich loses badly to Obama. Who’s still supporting this guy besides his crook Vegas bankroller and his lame, dishonest ads?
