The editor who wrote that headline is mixing the Kool-Aid AND drinking it.
Obama’s unpopularity is massive. People are sick of high gas prices, high unemployment, and low respectablity abroad. The infighting among the Republicans might be good sport to watch, but like the Democrat party in ‘08, we WILL unite. Our desire to fire Obama in 2012 far exceeds the Democrat desire to replace a Republican four years ago.
Face it, people gave the guy a chance. Now they know he SUCKS. Of course WE at FR knew that...we follow this political stuff every day. But Joe Six Pack out there isn’t stupid. He knows this jackass has made things worse, and he won’t forget in November.
I agree completely. Obama can crow all he wants about the economy, but that's a losing strategy. Too many people are still unemployed, or under-employed, for that to be successful, even with the daily help of the MSM. I also don't think the "I voted for Barack so I can't be racist" voters will feel the need to punch that ticket again.
As it stands right now, Obama is toast. His only real strategy is to hope the GOP nominee slips up.
