President Obama is treating Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron to a bit of March Madness during his state visit next week.
The two leaders will attend Tuesday's first-round game in the NCAA college basketball tournament in Dayton, Ohio. Cameron and Obama, along with the rest of the world, will learn what teams they'll see when the brackets are announced Sunday evening.
"The president and the prime minister look forward to a great game between some of our nation's finest collegiate athletes," an unnamed White House official told The Columbus Dispatch this week.
Obama, who is expected to announce his tourney picks next week, has often touted his love for the game.

The road trip will be a guys-only affair. First Lady Michelle Obama and the prime minister's wife, Samantha, will remain in Washington, where they will take part in an "Olympic-themed event," White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters.

I need to take some time off and go to the game because I've been working so hard lately
Who wants to bet that ESPN’s Andy Katz will start drooling and getting a hard-on all over Odumbo again during the bracket show?
Does anybody remember any other POTUS just attending a sports event (other than tossing the first ceremonial baseball pitch)?
What do Obama and Cameron really have in common...probably BP.
I am so sad to have lived long enough to see a POTUS wearing cargo shorts
Just terrific - turn the entire area into a ‘no-fly zone’ so he can fly in his tons of equipment and ruin any chance of recreational flying for the entire day - just great.
Both ESPN/ABC/Disney and CBS/National Amusements, which cover this over-hyped “March madness” donate vast amounts of free airtime to Obama along with plenty of hard cash. Obama’s brother-in-law Craig Robinson gets at least 950k per year coaching at Oregon St despite a .475 w-l record. The conflict of interest is obvious.
Every minute one spends watching this spectacle only swells the bottom lines of the corrupt media, corrupt colleges and the corrupt hacks like Obama that distribute the favors.

Probably not. But you’ve got to give it to him, it’s politically savvy. He’ll be raking in the college vote. Millions of students are into March Madness.
With the security precautions that will be in place, he’ll ruin the game for everyone else as well .... sort of like shutting down Main Street at Disney.
Obama will be exploiting the poor college students working their way through college playing basketball on scholarship just to promote his reelection. And in the process will be making use of the taxpayer funded arena.
I detest this creature a bit more each day. When I heard that announced on CBS during the bracket show, I went back to watching the golf tourney.
Bill Clinton attended several University of Arkaansas games.
Security is doing their nightmare job as we type.
Let's see: 1. Announced well in advance.
2. Enemies already getting positions.
Only so many ways to get in/out of a small town.
Foret it, you all get where I'm coming from.
What an idiot.
What next, he will tell our enemies when we are pulling out? Oh wait.
“Hell be raking in the college vote. Millions of students are into March Madness.”
You’re probably right, but they’re into jobs, too; the crop of college graduates from 3 years ago are still looking for their first one...
Glad to see our national leader isn’t fazed by such trivia as the economic recession and resulting joblessness, rising gas prices, the impending war with Iran, and the ongoing threats of terrorists against the people of the United States.
Shouldn’t he be wearing a multi-colored beanie and short pants and sucking a lollipop?
BYU will be playing Iona in Dayton, that night, so maybe Mitt (a BYU grad) will show up to cheer on the Cougars, unless Iona gets a big lead, at which point he will flip flop and root for the Gaels and claim he has been pro-Iona all his life.
