This show is begging to be lambasted and mocked via South Park.
That fat Abby Lee is a perfect Eric Cartman. Perfect. right down to her hands-on-hips and head-snap pose.
Somebody PLEASE pass contact South park and let them know about this excellent opportunity to mock and ridicule.
My daughter is turning 5 in a week so she’s a bit out of your age range but I’ll answer anyway.....
There’s not much on TV for us. I watch news & EWTN, so that’s why I continue my cable subscription. She watches a few pre-school shows but otherwise we watch movies, older stuff like The Sound of Music. I try to keep her busy with non-TV activities. It’s really become a pipeline of garbage. I’m shocked at what parents allow their kids to view. Glee would be another example of abject smut aimed at middle schoolers. Blech!!!!
The mothers need their heads examined. My daughter danced for many years and there is no way I would ever allow her to dance in a school where this behavior is commonplace. Not just the suggestive costumes and dancing, the whole ball of wax. Why a mother would want their child in this sort of environment is well, disgusting. People will sell not only their souls but their children’s souls for the slight possibility of fame.
We still watch Little House. My kids also love Dick Van Dyke and Andy Griffith. There isn’t much new stuff that we watch with them. Extreme Home Makeover and Are you Smarter than a 5th grader are a couple of good ‘newer’ shows.

I don't agree with what they had the children do or wear on the show but your blanket statement above is ridiculous.
My son did some acting and voice-over work when he was a child and has grown up to be a well-adjusted, happy, productive young man.
Parents just have to keep watch over their kids. There are kids going to public school who are more at risk then most kids who do work in the entertainment field. Not all kids are like Lindsey Lohan.
Our under-10 children watch mostly PBS educational shows such as “Word Girl,” or documentaries on Netflix. Anything to do with animals, dinosaurs, ocean life, etc. The older ones went through all the episodes of “Walker, Texas Ranger” and “Magnum, P.I.” on DVD.
We have one television set, which is in a cabinet that I can padlock if I don’t want them watching!
Pedophilia is the #1 problem in Hollywood.
You would love LMN then this weekend was man bashing weekend. My husband hates that channel.

It is not any more a problem in what you call “Hollywood” then anywhere else.
This show represents the small local segment of the industry. Bigger segments are way too governed and watched for shenanigans like this to get by.
“Hollywood’s” entertainment segment is made up of some vocal stupid liberals, this is true. But there are many more intelligent, hard-working Americans who work hard and don’t deserve the “all hollywood sucks” statements.

My son worked in the industry. He never “slept” his way to a job or was raped.
Are there incidents of sick behavior in entertainment. Yes.
But there are incidents of this behavior in every segment of society.
Your blanket statements about the industry are wrong.
Everyone connected with that show is mentally and morally sick. I feel very sorry for the poor kids.
I guess the several articles I’ve pinged out recently with info from former child stars that pedophilia is rampant in Hollywood are lies.
I don’t have the time to try to find the articles, in case you ask. The keyword (or one of them) would be “Moral absolutes” but I really don’t have time to even sit here for a minute longer.

my baby sister did that very same thing after my parents got divorced and she lived with my dad. my dad was in his late 70’s and the courts granted him custody????
my baby sister is now dead, 38 died of obesity and major organ shut down. she weighed 500 lbs 5’4” tall. she left 4 kids behind.
