-——Specter writes that Obama turned down a request to campaign with him in the final days of the primary because the president’s advisors feared he would look weak if he intervened and Specter lost. -——

Tragic.

But at least we got stuck with a bill that will destroy American healthcare for generations.

Way to put country first, Arlen!

“Specter also claims that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) did not uphold his promise to grant him seniority accrued over 28 years of service in the Senate as a Republican. “

“He writes that former Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole (R-Kan.) told him that he would have made the same decision to defect from the GOP if in Specter’s position. “

Unless Dole denounces Specter as a “dottering old fool” or an outright liar, Dole has just certified his label as a RINO.

As for Specter and all the other career politicians, the first statement confirms that “it is ALL about ME” for these “public servants”.

Plus, anyone who would trust a promise from Harry Reid is either too stupid or naive (or both...or lying) to be trusted with public office.

Dole ‘I probably would have done the same thing.’

Seniority let this ass assume it was his turn to be our presidential candidate.

I wonder if Dole will confirm this?

Nobody likes a traitor.

You said it.....A traitor is only good for a short period of time, but they'll never be trusted enough. If this were the Mafia, Specter would have been whacked once he was no longer of any use.

Are you really surprised that Dole is a RINO?

They are all self serving a-holes.

Great comments here that perfect reflect my feelings. I wonder(marketing-wise) ... What demographic would buy this book? I doubt any of us on the right would “contribute” to Spector’s retirement(we are already paying more tha we should for his pension)... And those on the right wouldn’t buy a book discussing Democrat dishonesty. I predict a failure in sales.

Nobody likes a traitor, Arlen. The side that benefits from your treachery will always treat your actions with suspicion. You were disposable to the Democrats.

Its always about Snarlen when it comes to Snarlen. Ex-RINO’s garner little respect even when jumping onto the ship of Rats full bore. Snarlen got his just desserts politically speaking. Enjoy the taxpayer subsidized retirement old man.

Have you heard about the new “nano-cello”?

It's supposed to be less than one-one-hundredth the size of the current world's smallest violin. With this development, plus the newest pico-picolo, femto-fluglehorn, zepto-xylophone and the atto-alto sax, things have never looked better in the field of sub-atomic symphonics.
