I don’t think the author of this piece could come up with any more ways to be condescending. “Corky” just had to make sure to give the educational rank of the two states and mention that the people are deeply religious. I guess his editor wouldn’t let him write his personal conclusion that only “dumb fundamentalists” would believe Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim.

The unmentionable elephant in the room concerning these educational rankings of Alabama and Mississippi involves, ahem, demographics. The obesity rankings, which usually aren't too kind to these Deep South states, likewise fail to mention this factor that, in today's PC world, we're not supposed to utter.
