More and more folks are narcissistic or sociopathic and truly do view children as possessions they plan to acquire if and when possessing a child will fulfill the parents' needs. Such diseased minds have seared consciences and truly feel no guilt when they deliberately and intentionally pay a doctor to spill their own child's blood because it had the audacity to be conceived by the parents' fulfilling their belly's desires when it wouldn't suit the parents at present to be parents and it is easier to them to have a dead child than to have a living a child out there being raised by loving parents who desperately wanted one and would treasure the child and sacrifice for their children like sane people do, investing in the child and sincerely seeking to meet the child's needs, not having a child so the child can...
Sounds a bit like Stanley Dunham.

Jack Russell terriers deserve better mommies
Someday her sister’s kids will pick crazy Aunt Amanda’s nursing home and Aunt Amanda will leave all her money to the SPCA
At least Stanley Dunham saw her child as a ticket to Africa to be part of a tribal harem... if you want to believe the story about Barry’s paternity

She’ll never know what she missed, but God knows.
Parenthood changed my perceptions about many things. What this poor soul doesn’t realize is that it would have changed hers, too. Or she would have wound up like Casey Anthony, because she’s that evil. One of the two.

This woman will never know what true love is. Most people think it’s the love between a man and a woman. I submit it is the love you feel for your children. There is nothing like it. Is it easy? No, but it is the most enduring and satisfying.

Amen.
But you don’t know it until you experience it.
And those that don’t experience it? They take your words as “hate”
The world is getting flipped upside down.

"Chatel left her very liberal family and moved to New York City to become a writer. I wanted a life that sparkled, she told the New York Post. Within months, she was pregnant but could not believe her diagnosis, because she drank too much, smoked too many cigarettes, too much pot and had also dabbled in a few other recreational items.
Thus, an unemployed lefty justifies her abortion because a baby would have interfered with her boozing and drugging.

Good point, and no woman can accurately say that she loves a man if she is willing to kill that man’s child by abortion.

This is evolution at its best.
Who would want a child of this beast in our world?
To: IbJensen
If she had become a mother, she states she would have missed out on other life experiences, like being in a cafe in Paris suffering a necessary and deliciously inspiring heartbreak. She would not write for The Gloss or live in NYC or have my Hubbell.
Mental illness is such a tragic thing to behold.

Despite her fiercely pro-choice upbringing and her resolute decision to abort her child This statement right here points to how much the Left bastardizes words. "Pro-choice" is supposed to mean that the person can choose. In this case, "choice" means abortion, period.
The Left wants us to believe that pro-life means that women will be forced to have and keep children. They want us to believe that pro-choice means that they can choose to abort or to carry the child to term. In an overwhelming number of cases, women who claim to be "pro-choice" feel that they don't want a child but damn the consequences of having sex with every Tom, Dick, and Harry on the block.
I'm gonna call BS on this author. My bet is that she's using this as an unverifiable truth to further an agenda. I bet no one ever knocked her up nor did she ever get pregnant. If she can produce proof, I might listen, but she'll never get any of my sympathy. You don't want a baby? Keep your legs closed or join a convent!

Best decision of her life, she’s so happy she did it, but her twitter name is AngryChatel. Don’t all happy well adjusted people add “Angry” before their name?
So sad that these wacko liberals don’t even know they are wacko!

The funny thing to me, as a committed antiabortion person, it that these type of articles actually make me wonder if I shouldn't SUPPORT abortion?
There are some people's genes that simply don't belong in the pool. If they want to keep themselves out, you almost have to think of it from two perspectives. One, a completely innocent child has been murdered, but two, maybe the effect of this worthless POS will end here. Sad as it seems, the benefit of one almost outweighs the other.
