There are important exceptions, but these are generalizations that have a lot more truth in them than some people might like to think.

I've been impressed enough down the years by what I've seen of it, that my bachelorhood is persevering into my 60's now.

If they're going to treat you like that -- what's the point? We're going to defend them against intruders and insolent men ..... for what? For this?

My present wife is one of those important exceptions. She is loving, caring, forgiving, jovial, capable, a reasoned person, and an indispensable part of my life. I am truly blessed, and I’m a person who gets squeamish when someone says that. In this case it is undeniably true.

I have been to hell and back in a relationship prior to my current wife. I was married before, and when I say hell and back, I mean HELL and back.

You and I have led different lives. I am glad that you are happy as a bachelor. I wish you continued happiness.

Women are complex creatures. So are we. There have been times when even I found it hard to live with me. LOL I guess I shouldn’t hold it against a women who experienced that same thought enough to separate with me.

Hey, you take care.
