I think Quinn’s contention is that there are contract clauses that state that the union wages have to be so much above the minimum wage, and when the minimum wage goes up, the union wage would increase proportionally and automatically.

If this isn’t correct, Quinn should probably stop saying it, as it is a major assertion of his.

Union contracts are silently tied to minimum wage.

The higher Minimum Wages are, the Higher Union Contracts will go.
