NEW YORK — Michelle Obama chose an off-the-shoulder Marchesa gown for her duties Wednesday night as hostess at a White House state dinner honoring the British prime minister and his wife, David and Samantha Cameron.
It was a deep shade of teal in a draped, column silhouette.
The designer of the gown, Georgina Chapman, and her husband, movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, were guests at the affair, but they didn't know Mrs. Obama was wearing one of Chapman's designs when they arrived.
"I'm knocked out!" Weinstein said.

A tasteful solid gold black power fist on a dainty chain with matching earrings would have been a better look.

Did she take every last necklace from her daughters’ play jewelry? And the lack of boob support is ridiculous. Victoria may have a secret but Michelle lets her secret sag out for everyone to see.
At least Marchesa wore a stunning dress.
He always has the air of a clumsy poseur in everything he does. Like a guy trying to cram after skipping class all semester long.
And she ruined it with that contraption around her neck, the slouching and the too tight fit at her rump.

“Mrs. Obama gave a preview of the dinner during an afternoon meet-up with students from the U.S. and the U.K. in the State Dining Room, complete with an advance tasting of the evening’s dessert: steamed lemon pudding, a nod to the traditional English treat.
“Me and grandma and a couple of people, we’ve tasted the desserts, but you guys will be the first to taste the desserts tonight,” she said.
Then the first lady breezed off to check on preparations for the big dinner, saying, “I have to go look at the tent.”
And that’s no ordinary tent: It features a 150-foot-wide glass wall overlooking the White House grounds.”

The Camerons received a wood and charcoal burning grill engraved with American and British friendship flags, along with his-and-her White House chef jackets embroidered with their names. The gifts were inspired by the Obamas’ May 2011 visit to London, when the two couples grilled burgers for American and British members of the military.
The Camerons, in turn, presented the Obamas with a pingpong table, a reminder that the president and prime minister played table tennis with some schoolboys during the Obamas’ visit to London.

So much for the dresses and obozo’s big foot on the mooch’s choo choo train....how was the food and the booze?
How those two in Our White House pander to those who can give them what they want. Interesting to see if Harvey changes his mind and decides to do the movie, after the obozo’s big play to please him.
For goodness’ sake, I wish that woman would stand up straight! The slouching does her no favors. I think she does it because she’s taller than Barry, and doesn’t want to make that obvious. And those necklaces . . . I think she imagines she has an “African” look going on.
Honestly, her stylists must really hate her.
