NEW YORK Michelle Obama chose an off-the-shoulder Marchesa gown for her duties Wednesday night as hostess at a White House state dinner honoring the British prime minister and his wife, David and Samantha Cameron.
It was a deep shade of teal in a draped, column silhouette.
The designer of the gown, Georgina Chapman, and her husband, movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, were guests at the affair, but they didn't know Mrs. Obama was wearing one of Chapman's designs when they arrived.
"I'm knocked out!" Weinstein said.

Look at that posture, or lack of it——good grief, can she not walk like a slumped-over creature from the Outer Limits?
Also, was it necessary to wear every necklace she owns at the same time? Too much going on up there.

Michelle Fashion Police Alert Ping!
FReepmail maggief if you want on or off this ping list
I’m having a hard time deciding which of her body parts is the most repulsive.
It’s a very close race.
Does it beep when it backs up?
Someone looks over dressed!
She always wears heaps of necklaces with her evening gowns—looks bad.
The necklace mess really is overdone and not attractive, well neither is the rest of her, but that and a couple other things stand out.
The saggy bustline of the dress wasn’t meant for a woman lacking boobies.
The purpose is to draw attention away from the rest of her.
The woman does not look horrid all the time, but must we be “convinced” that she’s a fashion maven EVERY time there’s a formal event?
Laura Bush had that natural grace w/o “accoutrements” but you’d have been hard-pressed to hear her depicted the same way...
You load sixteen tons of jewelry, what do you get
Another day older and deeper in debt
Saint Peter don’t you call me ‘cause I can’t go
I owe my soul to the TV shopping channel
(”Hold your head up, honey.”
“I’m trying! And shut up.”)
BO looks so small in that picture.
Yep, no taste....always overdone.
Did the photo catch him stepping on her train?
National Geographic chic
Her posture, her body-language, her whole composition is so gauche, so declasse’, especially when standing next to someone with grace and class, like Mrs. Cameron.
