I think he’s staying in because he’s having the time of his life.

Newt's staying in because he's a candidate for Pres. and he knows what is at risk if Romney gets the Primary...we loose. Additionally he's taking the heat for Santorum. You take out Newt and all the machinery will then come down on Santorum. They both need to stay in and this does need to go to convention....

Do any of you remember the last time the nominee was chosen AT the GOP convention? Remember when Ford was chosen over Reagan in 1976? I remember one announcer saying “maybe they've just chosen the wrong guy”. Well DUH.

4 years later we got Reagan after suffering endlessly with malaise of Jimma Carter. Ugh. I remember it well.

Also I'm sick of getting stuck with the choices of New Hampshire, Iowa, etc. If we have say 2 or 3 super Tuesdays throughout our primary and make them CLOSED primaries, then we'll have a good system. More people to start with, not the chosen few and RINOs like Romney.

My 2 cents says this is a Tea Party quiet dislike of Romney and the elite GOP can't stand that we don't want this guy.
