We in South Carolina have been blessed with bad publicity ever since the Articles of Secession were published here in Columbia in 1861.
Liberals regard the Palmetto State as backward, racist, and unfit to live in, with rock-bottom vital statistics to match.
That perception alone has kept our liberal population small and manageable, as well as that of our muzzies, who see us “infidels” as whiskey-swigging gun-toting Bible-thumping Crusaders.
Which many of us are, thank you very much.

Absolutely agree! If being surrounded by simple God fearing people who STILL have a good nature despite national elite perception ( who cares!) and look after each other withour government prompting “ cause we are neighbors” makes the squishy liberals uncomfortable, I’m more than happy for them to exercise their right to stay away! ;)
