Our society has gotten to the point to where it’s about unfit to live in. The ‘death by 1,000 cuts’ and parasites all enabled by government, that I believe started in the 1960s is killing the host.

I believe the only way our country to survive is by a reset of some kind. Hell, it may require a secession or even another ‘civil war’.

In Corning California an 8th grade student brought marijuana laced brownies to school and distributed them to unsuspecting classmates. When asked by school staff, the 8th grader admitted to the deed. He was suspended for 5 days. End of story. Or, is it. Members of the Corning Community are up in arms that 1) the police were not called, and 2) the student was not reported to the district office's office of attendance and due process (the person responsible for deciding if the offense warrants expulsion. Why are they so upset? The mother of the 8th grader is a school board member.

A picture drawn by a 4 year old of a "toy" gun puts a man in jail. A 14 year old knowingly gives peers drug laced brownies, that the peers didn't know was drug laced, and he only gets a five day suspension. There is something really wrong in our society.

The West wasn’t won with a drawing of a gun.

Imagine the tax consequences if the kid had drawn a picture of her dad with piles of cash. If you can arrest him for a picture of a non-existent gun, they can probably tax non-existent cash.

Yes - absolutely obscene. My wife and I have and renew our CCW permits (although we believe - KNOW - that having to apply for a “permit” is a violation of our rights under the 2nd Amendment). We know that if some donut-muching wannbe Barny wants us to produce the permit, that although we strongly disagree with this law, here it is - NOW GO AWAY and try to bust some WASP, probably male, sober and otherwise 100 lawful, native English speaking American for the HEINOUS *gasp* “rolling stop” or for going 2 MPH over some idiotic speed limit posted for the express purpose of raising revenue. Meanwhile, the meth cooker directly across the street from where you have the guy pulled over is LAUGHING at you, and the child molester is hanging around the playground with his buddies, the union teachers, persuing his hobby. But, my goodness, Barney is making the world safe for busting the dastardly “rolling stoppers”.

Her free speech was taken away. She has the right to draw what ever she pleases. The school should be sued for every imaginable reason and punished severely for the theft of rights. The person who instigated the incident should be dismissed with prejudice and loss of rights and pensions

In Canada yes, but it can happen here.
Last year in Houston TX,a dad I know personally, was called in for a meeting in his 8 year old’s school, with the school admin and POLICE.
Same thing, drawing of a gun; turned out to be a lazerquest pistol, from a school sponsored field trip.

When the kid told them that, they were pretty embarrassed, no apology though.

When ID10t’s like this are in charge of educating our children, Lord help us!
