How the Catholic Church Got Roped into Liberalism

In the inner cities, the Catholic Church is now more and more just another non-profit feeding off government grant money. I have no doubt this scam is going on all over.

Good and not so good. what's left of the Catholic parochial schools are often one of the few ...very few ... ways that an inner city black kid is going to get a half-way decent education and perhaps some structure in his life outside of home (hopefully). In the back of the Bishops' minds might be the "Irish Plan" scheme. In Ireland, (the Republic) the gov pays whatever school the parents select, be it private, Catholic, Church of Ireland, etc., for the kid. This paid competition has had a very good effect on the public schools, which are also of course, available.

Right now, many of the inner city "Charter Schools" are scams funneling tax dollars to very suspicious 501C3s. (They didn't name that boy SHARP-ton for no reason).

Here in Maine, Catholic Charities is directly responsible for our current plague of Somali Muslims (don't turn me in!). Somehow, the late Baldacci Administration and CC got together to import huge numbers of Muslim Somali Border Bandits heretofore known only for camel and goat rustling, into Maine. Get'em on welfare, get'em into housing (one Section 8 for each of the current four wives). Get'em into schools. (All 31 children and the male children refusing direction from female teachers and trying to gang-rape "infidel" girls on the playground). Get 'em into the ER to repair their female circumcision damage.

Catholic Charities? Working with Government? Good idea? Bad Idea?

The bishops forgot about the Catholic principle of subsidiarity - government shouldn't do what private citizens and organizations can do.

the RCC should not be expected to be a vigorous advocate against big government, except when their "matters of conscience" are threatened.

Roman Catholic bishops should not be expected to do more against big government than remind their listeners about subsidiarity. Unfortunately, lately they're not even doing that much.
