Not sure about the kid, but the shooter has been in trouble with the law...
I introduced one set of hypotheticals in response to a post by Mariner where he introduced other hypotheticals. And the issue of self defense is plainly relevant to the case at hand. Mariner called Zimmerman a murderer but it isn't murder if it is self-defense.
BTW, idiots and liars are talking about the Skittles. Honest intelligent people are talking about the fistfight that occurred before the shooting and asking who started it.
Have you EVER in your life heard of a white neighborhood up in arms about some white criminal being shot? Either by the police or by someone defending themselves? Never. We don't stand with criminals.
I don't know the facts here - but I know the MSM isn't telling much of the story...and what's being told reeks of bias.
What was the 'teen' doing in that neighborhood? Was he visiting a friend? If he was, that should be in the story.
The police looked into the situation and decided NOT to arrest the man who shot him. Why was that done?
Did the teen have an arrest record? This isn't a court of law - it's the court of public opinion. I'd like to know if he's a criminal...
One (911) caller, a teenage boy, said that as he was walking his dog, "I saw a man laying on the ground that needed help. He was screaming."
Then, he told the operator, he heard a gunshot and said the screaming stopped.

Zimmerman had been the subject of earlier complaints by residents of the gated community in which he and Martin's family lived. At an emergency homeowner's association meeting earlier this month, "one man was escorted out because he openly expressed his frustration because he had previously contacted the Sanford Police Department about Zimmerman approaching him and even coming to his home," a resident wrote in an email to HuffPost. "It was also made known that there had been several complaints about George Zimmerman and his tactics" in his neighborhood watch captain role.
It should slso be noted that the family of the victim lived in the gated community where this took place.

That's an important piece of information... Thanks for sharing. Many of us know the press always picks one side - not based on evidence - or fair play or justice - but on PC politics. And we tend to automatically take the other side...

A couple of women neighbors who lived together claimed they were witnesses, but it appears they only heard what happened through an open window. They say it had to be the kid screaming for help since the screaming stopped after the shot was fired. Of course, if the kid was dead, the shooter wouldn’t need help any longer. I can’t find the tapes anywhere. Anyone know where they are? Also, the kid was on suspension from school. The father refuses to say why. The picture they have of the kid appears to be when he was much younger. Maybe they don’t have a “nice” current photo. There is a Trayvon Martin facebook page with a thuggy looking kid, but I don’t know if that’s him or not.

This is not the real story. George called 911 to report a suspicious person. As he got off the phone the kid attacked him and started beating the crap out of him and slamming his head against the walkway. All the while saying “you’re gunna die tonight motherfxxxxx” George was screaming help when someone in a nearby apartment called 911 again. George’s shirt came up while the kid was beating him, revealing the gun that he is licensed to carry. The kid went for the gun and they struggled for it, George ended up shooting the kid and saving his own life. All these people on yahoo saying that he should be in jail when they don’t even know what happened. George is the brother-in-law of one of our good family friends, works with my parents, and is one of the nicest most gentle people you will ever meet. He’s completely devastated that this happened and has barely been functional from the guilt. No one shoots someone for no reason, and especially not George. And they need to stop pulling the race card, George is hispanic, not white.

Trayvon Martin was on a week’s suspension from his High School, and a stranger at the gated community.
All the police investigation has said that the physical evidence is consistant with Mr. Zimmerman’s claims of self defense.
Zimmerman was bleeding from the face and back of the head when the police arrived. Zimmerman says that he was yelling for help and no one would help him.
It is very difficult to make up a story that is consistent with the physical evidence when the encounter occured in darkness and the police were there within minutes.
If the other party is another approved minority, hispanic, then the race card loses a lot of its power.
What I wrote is not an example of question-begging.
Would this guy have shot you or me if we didn’t comply with his demands? I wouldn’t react kindly to some guy trying to detain me while I was walking down the street minding my own business. I don’t know if he put his hands on the teen, I was just thinking about what I would do in that situation.

Impossible! My local news just put up a kindergarten graduation picture of a smiling Trayvon all dressed in white. He looks like an angel.
Seriously, I don't know exactly what happened, and most people who've made up their minds don't either. I do believe that this is really going to be a full out assault on gun rights being waged by the Democrats and other assorted scum regardless of the truth.
It was previously brought up that Zimmerman had problems earlier, so I thought it was just as relevant that Martin had problems ongoing.
We do not know what those problems consisted of.
