About 7:30 PM CDT, Freeper “tung soo” (never had heard of him) posted up the thread article on this subject. There were some heads in there commenting that seemed to have more to add than just gritching about Obama. That thread had four or five meat and potatos items, and a few minutes ago it was still up, but now on page two of the main board.
I looked for the comment that caused our confusion and didn’t find it before phones rang, etc., etc., and I haven’t gotten back to search. But, what I paraphrased to you blew my mind. That this could have been, over the course of eleven years, so piece meal legislated as to thwart hope to some extent that this EO can be undone.
Scary stuff that comment. And then on this thread we have a poster saying all military camps are closed for maneuvers March 22 & 23rd. Just wow. Can I get enough candles together by then! To use, and to pray under their light. :)
There are some intersting sites that are science based and also one of my favorite Christian sites that have been doing stories on an expected sun flare more serious than the ones who have reportedly already knocked out a few cell phones and electronics.
It could take a few days for restoration in fact. I don’t know if that is of interest to you, and my being helpful when I’m pooped has already this evening caused some confusion, but for what it’s worth.... LOL!! :)
There is some kind of financial auction on Monday Mar 19th which will be a
precursor for a planned Greek default on Friday Mar 23rd.
A lot of financial blogger chatter about the start of the global finance system crashing Monday Mar 25th because of this default.
I have no idea if it’s true or any relationship with the base closures, but we’ll know by the end of next week.

With all due respect Mr. Toespi, the guys and gals we have in Congress these days are more concerned with what type of lightbulbs you use, how big your showerhead is, how large a watertank you have on your crapper, what your carbon footprint is, than the trillions of dollars of debt that we are in. Their intelligence and interest don’t reach further than that.
The smartest folks in our country are definitely NOT IN GOVERNMENT — they are trying to make an honest living.
So he signed the EO on 03/16, but it will only take effect in September? Is that what you’re saying? If so, that’s might convenient (think elections).

No, I didn’t know that.
It was a scary enough comment though, that’s for sure, and conceivably possible over the course of 11 years, but with *this* senate of ours, now VERY conceivable.
The whole EO came from somewhere, because the forces used to enforce it are not on our soil. They will have to be “arranged” elsewhere. Heck, even that million man march man, what’shisname, holds Obama in NO high esteem, so who else.....oh, I get it......Muslims?
Sgt Dave? What is your opinion on the Military following orders that are illegal,why is no one in the military speaking up? Why are they being so willing to go along? I want to know? It is frightening to think that the Police, US military is just falling in line? What Army does he need when he has FEMA,FBI,DEA,ATF DOJ and the US Military. And thanks for your service Sgt Dave.

They are falling in line with whoever puts bread on their table.
Expecting about 20,000 to be dumped out of the military and onto the unemployment lines around San Diego. People in mid-career. At the same time, there was just a $30 million recruiting effort in San Diego. Makes me wonder if the aim is to gut the experienced troops and replace with noobies unprepared to deal with the crap Obama has in mind.
You’ve hit on something! Maybe we should start a time line that documents upcoming stuff that causes one to say, “hum?” I’ll be glad to start...

May 1 May Day-call for general strikes of union workers
I had a consulting career out of my house but homeschooled two sons with their Dad, Harvard tutors, and me. The oldest completed high school and got a high SAT score in the tenth grade. He was ready for college but he wanted to play lacross and girls at the high school so he did that. The youngest followed in his footsteps. Both boys wracked up a lot of advancement placement college credits while at high school. They ran a couple of businesses with me and packed away a lot of money for college. Then they went off to college one semester ahead. We had a blast together and grew very close. They are well rounded independent guys. One is getting his PhD in science and the younger guy just graduated with a business degree.
You sure did do good! Lucky girl!
