....The evidence is mounting that not only do we have more than a century's worth of recoverable oil in the United States alone (even if there is a limit to the earth's oil supply), but that we also actually have a limitless supply of Texas tea because oil is in fact a renewable resource that is being constantly created deep under the earth's surface and which rises upward, where microscopic organisms that thrive in the intense pressure and heat miles below us interact with and alter it.
In other words, we have an unending supply of oil, some of which is constantly migrating upward from the depths at which it is created to refill existing oil deposits, and much more of which remains far below the surface. This oil can be recovered using existing technology.
....Russian technology was developed in the 1970s to test the theory by drilling as deep as 40,000 feet into the earth. As a result, Russia was the first nation to begin to understand and exploit these renewable oil reserves, and today their oil industry is thriving.
The political implications for Barack Obama and the radical environmentalist base he panders to with his corrupt "renewable" energy policy are profound. First, as we've seen, the president continually misrepresents the amount of recoverable oil available to us. His assertion that we have "only two percent of the world's oil reserves" available to us is simply a lie, as Susan Duclos documents in this piece. We're awash in oil reserves, and it's up to our political candidates to expose Obama's baseless fabrications about our energy reserves.
Beyond that, most Americans have digested the fact that the entire environmentalist rationale for pursuing "green energy" technology is built on fabricated global warming....

My husband has always said this. It really does make sense, I always knew it wasn’t just the dinosaurs.
Take 30 minutes. Expand the video to fill the screen and listen to Newt on American Energy Independence [also a transcript].
“But it’s dirty! And it makes fat-cat capitalist rethuglicans rich! I just mounted a sail on my Chevy Volt so it’ll get me all the way to the Holland tunnel!”
Game changer alert!
I have heard of the Russian research on this topic and the results are worth noting. Russian researchers were actually able to duplicate the creation of oil in the laboratory using extremes of heat & pressure.
I asked a guy in church who is in the oil business and asked him, “If oil is basically dinosaur sh*t and old plant life, are there ever any bits & pieces that come up that actually show this? He couldn’t really answer the question.
Even if it were true, it’s not being created fast enough to satisfy our appetite for oil.
Humans have been transmogrifying substances into oil for generations. Why is it so hard to believe nature is doing the same thing?
The radical left greens lie for the purpose of trying to amass government power over others and to control our lives, i.e., enslave us.
Be careful you don't trap yourself in an "endangered species" situation.
Take trees for example...We now take one and plant 3....
If we take x barrels but only 1/2x is "renewing" at the same time, we are indeed in an "endangered species" situation.
Don't give them any ideas.
We have a lot of uses for petroleum. How great to think it it’s renewable, like trees.
Never let the left control the language of debate.
, its not being created fast enough to satisfy our appetite for oil.
Got a reliable source for that?
Did I need to add a sarcasm tag?
“Got a reliable source for that?”
Yes. Just look at the price at your local gas station.
I wonder what the math would show if someone were to covert all of the oil and gas we have ever used to its caloric equivalent and then figured out how much dinosaur meat that equals. It seem impossible to me that enough of this meat found its way into collections miles deep to be converted into hydrocarbons by a (to me at least) murky process that somehow left no hint of bone or tooth in the mess that has produced billions of barrels of oil and cubic feel of gas.
Not for me!! We're on the same page!
Oh non..the peak oil and deep ecology set will be devastated
“........we have an unending supply of oil, some of which is constantly migrating upward from the depths at which it is created to refill existing oil deposits, and much more of which remains far below the surface. This oil can be recovered using existing technology.”
I believe it was in the 1980’s I first read about this as theory, and later, more recently read about the tars, and the oils percolating up from the depths of the Earth.
I think that has more to do with the declining value of our dollar.
Titan is primarily composed of water ice and rocky material. Much as with Venus prior to the Space Age, the dense, opaque atmosphere prevented understanding of Titan's surface until new information accumulated with the arrival of the CassiniHuygens mission in 2004, including the discovery of liquid hydrocarbon lakes in the satellite's polar regions. The surface is geologically young; although mountains and several possible cryovolcanoes have been discovered, it is smooth and few impact craters have been found.
Need to revoke your screen name...
There are plenty of leaf prints in coal. None in crude oil.
Food prices have also been going up. Should we blame that on limited resources too?
I've got a better idea. Lets place the blame where it belongs - on professional leftists who want Americans to go back to living the way stone age people did.
Not a problem,...just add a few more billion years to the age of the earth and they can justify anything. Just ask Al Gore.
I would be something if it were discovered that below the moon’s surface were oil deposits created when the moon had enough oxygen to support these organisms below the surface.
AFIK, the deep Soviet boreholes produced hydrogen and water.
As a result, Russia was the first nation to begin to understand and exploit these renewable oil reserves, and today their oil industry is thriving.
If true, why can't the abiotic theory predict where to obtain methane/oil? The Russian oil & gas industry production occurs in geologic basins as is the case around the world.
It seems everything that can advance our reach here and in space, has been labeled harmful, finite and/or hard to get to, in order to keep it expensive and us boxed up.
Self replenishing energy source?
It seems like a key part of an intelligent design.
You just need beings intelligent enough to grasp the obvious.
I believe that eventually we will discover that life on Earth originated in the crust (or deeper) and then migrated to the oceans. We will also find that every rocky planet in the Solar system, along with some of the moons, are generating life in their interiors.
“Brilliant’s” screen name is fine, as long as you realize it’s sarcastic....
So much ignorance crammed into so few words. How do you do that?
That's probably correct, but, still, just the idea of telling the greenies that oil is renewable is too delicious.
Oh please. Have you not a basic understanding of oil markets (and who is controlling them)? The idea of a commodity?
That's not a brilliant conclusion on your part. That is a baseless assumption. Frankly, we can't possibly know if it is true or what rate oil could be reproducing in the earth. If you have to drill 40,000 feet deep and we aren't doing so, then who is to say there isn't a massive supply that deep that we simply don't know about? We do know we found oil and gas 7 miles deep in Texas and there is NO WAY dino and plant fossilized matter could have just seeped 7 miles down into the earth's crust.
Glad you posted this. About 10 percent of geologists lean towards this theory that the earth generates its own oil. Problem is the term fossil fuel was invented by the oil industry to imply finite source thus they can justify the high prices and shortages in the future. Add to this is the environmentalists who think continue usage of oil will destroy the world. Their push for green energy is based on impending theory that oil will run out. These two powerful groups will attempt to squash the abiotic theory for oil vs the biotic theory.
Then why do deposits exist only in sedimentary rock, sometimes with impermeable metamorphic or igneous structures beneath?
I agree with you 100% I have read stuff like that myself in times past, but have not been able to show documentation, so people just look at me as if I’m nuts.
I don’t know if you’d call it a reliable source, but I’d be happy to drive you around Texas and show you derelict rigs that are still sitting over dried up wells. It sure didn’t replenish. There. No one with half a brain should accept this hypothesis as fact without a lot more study and data.
One thing they didn’t say was the Kola well was not drilled as an oil or gas well but to determine the nature of the earths crust.
An Inconvenient Truth. ;o)
A 10 gal fish tank is 20"x12"x10"
Multiply HUNDREDS of BILLIONs of Barrels by 42 GALLONS, then figure the shear size THAT ONE reserve is.
Now theory is that dinosaurs and vegetation under heta PRESSUER and time turn into oil. PRESSURE compacts mass.
That means these massive oil reserves had to be much larger before the plant and animal mass was compressed.
Now when plants or animals die, they decompose into dust or compost. What caused all this plant and animal material to NOT decompose, but to be trapped underground in stassis, to be compressed and heated over time? How did what was on TOP of the earth, in a relatively short period of time, get transported 10,000 feet below the surface?
Now take all your figuring, and apply that to NUMEROUS oil reserves ALL OVER the world.
These current KNOWN reserves would be OVER a TRILLION BARRELS.
WHo built those ingenious structures anyway?
“That is a baseless assumption.”
Where is your proof that oil is created on a continual basis?
You need to deal with reality. The Texas oil fields are nearing exhaustion. Why haven’t they been replenished?
If oil is produced continually, then why is the price of gas going up?
There is a simple market-based explanation for that: As time goes by, the more costly reserves are tapped, and that forces up the price.
“...the entire environmentalist rationale for pursuing “green energy” technology is built on fabricated global warming....”
IMHO, their true rationale is world control and wealth redistribution, i.e., communism. I have believed this since Mikhail Gorbachev ‘converted” from communism to environmentalism.
Because all of this take place on ocean floors over hundreds of millions of years.
